Kuvasz Hosting Live In 5 Minutes

Deploy Kuvasz hosting and watch your sites and services from your own server. xCloud runs the pinned Kuvasz 4.4.0 image with a private PostgreSQL 18 database, sets the administrator account you choose at install (or generates the password), mounts a persistent volume and publishes the dashboard, REST API and status pages over HTTPS in minutes.

What is Kuvasz?

Kuvasz is an open-source, self-hosted uptime and SSL monitoring service with status pages, designed to help you keep track of your websites and services. It has a web interface, a REST API and per-monitor notifications through channels such as email, Discord, Slack, Telegram, Microsoft Teams and custom webhooks.

The xCloud template deploys Kuvasz 4.4.0 with a private PostgreSQL 18 database, so monitors, events and settings live on a server you control rather than in a third-party monitoring service.

From Sign-Up to a Live Monitor In Just 3 Easy Steps

A Kuvasz stack normally means an application container, a PostgreSQL database, an administrator account, a volume, a domain and a certificate before the first check runs. This is the same result without assembling any of it.

  1. Step 01

Create your xCloud account and pick Kuvasz from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server, then set the administrator username (default admin) and password, or leave the password empty to have one generated.

  2. Step 02

    We Deploy It For You

One click. We bring up the official Kuvasz image pinned by immutable digest with a private PostgreSQL 18 database that publishes no ports, mount the kuvasz_db volume, and publish the dashboard, REST API and status pages over HTTPS on your domain.

  3. Step 03

    Create Your First Monitor

Save the administrator password from the protected installation credentials, open your HTTPS Kuvasz URL (the first start runs migrations and can take a minute or two) and sign in at /login. Then create your first HTTP or SSL monitor.

Everything Kuvasz Does, On Your Own Server

Kuvasz runs in full here: uptime and SSL checks, status pages and a REST API on your own domain, backed by a database you own.

  • Five Kinds Of Checks

Monitor HTTP(S), ICMP (ping), TCP, DNS and push (heartbeat) targets from one dashboard.

  • SSL Certificate Tracking

Kuvasz checks the SSL certificates of monitored services, so an expiring certificate shows up next to uptime.

  • Public Status Pages

Create public or private status pages to keep customers or your own team informed about the state of your services.

  • Heartbeat Monitoring

Watch cron jobs, backups and other scheduled tasks: a push monitor alerts you when an expected heartbeat does not arrive in time.

  • Login-Protected Dashboard And API

The dashboard and REST API require a login; only status pages you publish and secret heartbeat URLs are reachable without signing in.

  • Private PostgreSQL Included

PostgreSQL 18 is reachable only inside the install's private network, with no published port, and keeps monitors, events and settings on a persistent volume.

Everything You Need To Run Your Uptime Monitoring 24/7

Managed hosting for Kuvasz, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.

  • Kuvasz 4.4.0 deployed instantly
  • Official image pinned by digest
  • Administrator password generated if left empty
  • Kept behind xCloud nginx
  • Free SSL certificate
  • Server backups and snapshots
  • Server security updates included
  • 30+ server locations
  • Unused balance refunded

What You Can Do With Kuvasz

  • Know when a site goes down

Point HTTP(S) monitors at your websites and APIs and keep availability on one dashboard that only you can sign in to.

  • Catch expiring certificates

Track SSL certificate expiry alongside uptime, so a lapsed certificate is a line on the dashboard instead of a surprise.

  • Publish a status page

Give customers or your team a public status page for the services you choose to show, without exposing the dashboard.

  • Watch scheduled jobs

Use push (heartbeat) monitors for cron jobs and backups, and get alerted when the expected ping does not arrive.

  • Check hosts, ports and DNS

Use ICMP, TCP and DNS monitors to confirm a host answers, a port accepts connections or a name resolves.

See why agencies, developers, startups, and growing businesses choose xCloud to power their projects.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian Geovanny
I've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.

I'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting

xCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.

xCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.

Trust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍

So far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.

Came from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson El
I've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony Lewis
I came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowell
I like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose

Dear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

How do I sign in?

Use the administrator username and password from the installation credentials at your-domain/login. There is no registration page and no default account.

Is the dashboard public?

No. The dashboard and REST API require a login. Only status pages you publish and push-monitor heartbeat URLs (each with its own secret) are reachable without signing in.

What kinds of checks are supported?

HTTP(S), ICMP, TCP, DNS and push (heartbeat) monitors, plus SSL certificate expiry tracking.

What runs alongside Kuvasz?

A private PostgreSQL 18 database (kuvasz-db) with no published ports.

Why does the first load take a while?

The first start runs database migrations and can take a minute or two before the page responds.

How do I change the administrator password?

Edit ADMIN_USER and ADMIN_PASSWORD in the Environment editor and use Save & Redeploy; they are read on every start. The password must be at least 12 characters and different from the username. Never set ENABLE_AUTH=false, as it opens the dashboard and API to everyone.

Can Kuvasz send email alerts?

Yes, once you add SMTP settings in the Environment editor. Set SMTP_CONFIG_HOST and SMTP_CONFIG_PORT together: Kuvasz refuses to start with a partial mail configuration.

Where do the monitors run from?

From your xCloud server, so a monitor reports what that server can reach.

What should I back up?

The kuvasz_db volume (monitors, events and settings), using pg_dump from the database container or a copy of the volume while the stack is stopped.

What survives a restart?

Data on the kuvasz_db volume: a monitor created in QA was still listed and UP after an xCloud Restart.

Does xCloud automatically back up or update Kuvasz?

No. The template pins Kuvasz 4.4.0 by immutable digest; new installations use the pinned release, existing sites are not automatically upgraded. Back up first, read the upstream release notes, then bump the readable tag and digest together on your own schedule. Server-level backups and snapshots are available on every Cloud VPS.

What are the server requirements, and why does this page sell 6 GB?

The template's baseline asks for 1 CPU core, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of disk; measured idle use in QA was about 390 MiB. This page sells the 6 GB tier as the entry rung, with real headroom above that baseline.

Is xCloud officially partnered with Kuvasz?

No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the Kuvasz project has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source Kuvasz project.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
