Deploy Meetable hosting and run a self-hosted community events calendar where you publish events, share iCal feeds and receive webmentions. xCloud starts the pinned image with MariaDB, Redis, a queue worker and a scheduler, creates the administrator from the email you enter and serves it over HTTPS on your domain. Sign-in is by passkey only, so you run one command on the server to add yours. There is no built-in email.
Meetable is a minimal events aggregator website, released under the MIT licence. Upstream's feature list covers upcoming events and an archive of past ones, tags, iCal feeds for every list, add-to-calendar links, RSVPs, proposed events with date voting, webmentions that let people add photos and notes from their own sites, and sign-in by passkeys, GitHub, OpenID Connect and other methods. A self-hosted Meetable is a community alternative to a hosted event platform such as Meetup.
On xCloud the template runs the official ghcr.io/aaronpk/meetable image, pinned by digest. Upstream publishes no version tags, only a rolling latest, so this page names no version. The stack has the app, a queue worker, a scheduler, MariaDB 11.8 and Redis, with three volumes: meetable_storage, meetable_db and meetable_redis. Reading events and feeds is public by design; creating and editing events needs sign-in.
A Meetable stack normally means a web container, a queue worker, a scheduler, a database, Redis, an administrator account, a domain and a certificate before the first event. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Meetable from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and enter the administrator email — that is the only field.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the Meetable image, pinned by immutable digest, with a queue worker, a scheduler, a private MariaDB 11.8 database and private Redis 8 kept off the public internet. We mount the meetable_storage, meetable_db and meetable_redis volumes, generate the database credentials, create the administrator from your email and publish the site over HTTPS.
Step 03
Run docker exec meetable-<site name> php artisan user:passkey-link <your admin email> on the server and open the printed one-time link within 30 minutes to register your passkey. Then sign in at /login and add your first event.
Meetable runs in full here: a public events listing on your own domain, with the queue worker and scheduler that its reminders and notifications depend on.
The home page lists upcoming events, with an archive view of past events and tags to help visitors discover what is on.
Every list of events — home page, tag pages and more — has an iCal feed visitors can subscribe to, and each event has an Add to Calendar link.
Event pages accept webmentions, so people can add photos and notes to an event from their own websites.
Each event has a permalink with a cover photo, date, time and location, a description that supports Markdown, links to the event website and tickets, and RSVPs for signed-in users.
Sign-in is by passkey. Registration is closed and the administrator is created at install, so no first visitor can claim the site. Reading events stays public.
A queue worker and a scheduler run next to the web app, covering recurring events and event reminders.
Managed hosting for Meetable, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
List upcoming events with tags, locations and descriptions, and keep an archive of past ones.
Offer iCal feeds for the whole site or for a single tag so people can follow in their own calendar.
Use proposed events so attendees vote on several possible dates before one is chosen.
Accept webmentions so people can add photos and notes to an event from their own sites.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Yes. For Meetable Docker hosting the template runs the official ghcr.io/aaronpk/meetable image pinned by digest, because upstream publishes only a rolling latest. It starts an app container, a queue worker, a scheduler, MariaDB 11.8 and Redis, and xCloud's proxy publishes the app over HTTPS.
Meetable is open source under the MIT licence, so the calendar has no licence fee. xCloud bills for the dedicated Cloud VPS and the deployment. Optional sign-in through GitHub, OpenID Connect or Discord, or S3 image storage, would be billed or governed by those providers.
The manifest asks for 1024 MB of RAM across the app, worker, scheduler, MariaDB and Redis. Uploads are limited by stock PHP settings, typically about 2 MB per file. The 6 GB plan sold here leaves ample headroom for a busy calendar.
Sign-in is by passkey only. The administrator for the email you entered already exists but has no passkey yet. Run php artisan user:passkey-link with your admin email inside the app container, open the printed one-time link within 30 minutes and add a passkey. Passkeys need HTTPS and are tied to the domain.
No. Meetable has no built-in email sending, so do not expect mailed reminders or password resets; there is no password sign-in either. The scheduler sends event reminders and creates recurring events, and the optional Discord reminder bot and other sign-in methods are configured in the environment file.
Back up the three volumes together: meetable_storage (uploaded images), meetable_db (MariaDB data) and meetable_redis (cache, queue and sessions). You can instead dump the database with mariadb-dump from the database container. Keep copies off-server and test a restore.
The image is pinned to one build of main by digest, so a catalog update reaches new installs only and there is no version number to track. Back up the volumes, read the upstream commits, then adopt a newer template version. The app runs database migrations on start.
Passkeys are tied to the domain, so changing it later invalidates them and you must generate a fresh one-time passkey link for the administrator. Choose your final domain before adding the passkey. Keep APP_NAME non-empty, or the app falls into its public web installer.
Yes. Meetable cloud use gives the calendar and its database, cache and workers a dedicated Cloud VPS with your domain and certificate. The first boot creates tables and the administrator and takes a minute or two. A server rented elsewhere can be enrolled as self-managed.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
