MyFin hosting on xCloud gives you a self-hosted personal finance manager on your own domain. Deploy MyFin and xCloud runs the pinned frontend and API images beside a private MySQL and an nginx proxy, generates the database credentials, guards the first-run setup with a generated Basic Auth password, publishes it over HTTPS, and keeps your accounts, budgets and transactions on one persistent volume. Open the site and create your account.
Self-hosted MyFin is a personal finances platform for budgeting, tracking income and spending, investments and forecasting. Upstream lists multilingual support, transactions added manually or imported in batches from a CSV file or clipboard, split transactions, accounts, categories and entities, rules for auto-categorisation, monthly budgets, stats with a forecast, investing in beta, and light and dark themes. It is GPL-3.0 licensed, and it is a self-hosted alternative to hosted budgeting apps such as YNAB.
On xCloud the template runs the MyFin frontend 10.7.0 and API 5.5.0, which are versioned separately, with MySQL 8.4 and an nginx proxy, all pinned by digest. The myfin_db volume holds everything. MyFin has no preset login: the first visitor creates the account on the setup screen, which the template guards with a generated setup password.
Self-hosting MyFin normally means wiring up MySQL, an API, a frontend and a reverse proxy by hand before you can track a single transaction. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick MyFin from the OneClick catalog. There are no extra fields — xCloud generates the database and setup credentials for you.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the pinned MyFin frontend 10.7.0 and API 5.5.0 images alongside MySQL 8.4 and an nginx proxy, mount the persistent database volume, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Open the HTTPS MyFin URL, enter the generated setup username and password when prompted, and complete the setup screen to create your owner account, currency and first budget.
MyFin runs in full here — budgeting, import rules and forecasting, on infrastructure you control.
A Boonzi-style budgeting tool for planning income and spending one month at a time.
Add transactions by hand or import them in batches from a CSV or the clipboard, with rules that auto-categorise and a way to split one transaction into two.
See net-worth evolution over time and a multi-year forecast in the stats view, plus beta investment tracking.
Organise balances, categories and entities the way your own finances are actually structured.
A multilingual interface with light and dark themes, so the app fits how and where you use it.
Accounts, budgets and transactions live in the myfin_db volume, which survives an xCloud Restart.
Managed hosting for MyFin, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
A household sets a monthly budget per category and compares it with what was spent, using the budgeting tool upstream describes.
A user pastes or uploads a CSV of bank transactions and lets rules categorise the rows automatically, instead of typing each one.
An owner reads the stats view for how net worth evolved across months and a forecast of future years, with investing tracked in beta.
A privacy-minded user runs the app and its MySQL database on their own Cloud VPS, with the in-app backup export as an extra copy.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

Yes. MyFin is licensed GPL-3.0, so the software has no licence fee and its source is public. You pay xCloud for the dedicated Cloud VPS that runs it. The template adds no paid MyFin tier, and your financial data stays in your own database.
Yes, and this template is MyFin Docker hosting without the assembly. It starts the MyFin frontend 10.7.0 and API 5.5.0 images beside MySQL 8.4 and an nginx proxy, all pinned by digest, and serves everything on one origin behind HTTPS with a single database volume.
The manifest asks for 1 GB of RAM, one CPU core and 5 GB of disk, with MySQL alongside. This page sells the 6 GB Cloud VPS for a MyFin cloud install, which is mostly headroom. All accounts, budgets and transactions live in the myfin_db volume.
MyFin has no preset login. Open the site and complete the setup screen with a username, password, email and currency; that account owns the instance. When you submit it, the browser asks for the setup username and password from the installation credentials.
Yes. Upstream lists importing transactions in batches from the clipboard, from a CSV file or directly from your bank's homebanking output, with rules that auto-categorise rows. There is no live bank connection claimed here, so import files you export yourself.
Not by default. Password-reset codes are sent by email, but SMTP is not configured, so the reset flow does not work until you set all the SMTP lines in the Environment editor. Keep your password safe, and use the in-app backup to protect your data.
Yes. MyFin offers an in-app JSON backup and restore, and the proxy accepts request bodies up to 100 MB so a restore can upload. Treat that export as an extra copy, not a replacement for a volume backup.
Back up the myfin_db volume, which holds all accounts, budgets and transactions, with a MySQL-consistent dump or by stopping the stack briefly before a snapshot. The API and frontend keep no files. Keep the database credentials, and test a restore on a spare server.
Your install stays on its pinned frontend and API versions until you adopt a newer template version. Back up the volume first, then adopt the newer template version, which moves the frontend and API together; the API applies its database migrations at start. Afterwards sign in and open last month's transactions.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Your budgets, your server, your rules — live in a couple of minutes. Start tracking your first account today.
