Deploy Ombi hosting and give your users a request portal for movies and TV shows on your own domain. xCloud runs the pinned Ombi 4.53.10 LinuxServer image as a single container on SQLite, keeps settings, users and databases on a persistent config volume and publishes the portal over HTTPS in minutes — ready for you to connect Plex, Emby or Jellyfin and Sonarr or Radarr.
Ombi is a self-hosted media request portal; upstream calls it a friendly media request tool that automatically syncs with your media servers. Your users sign in, search for movies and TV shows and request what is missing from your library, and you approve those requests or auto-approve them and hand them to Sonarr or Radarr. Ombi notifies the requester when the title is available and connects to Plex, Emby and Jellyfin. Run on your own server it is a self-hosted Ombi, released under GPL-2.0.
On xCloud the template runs Ombi 4.53.10 as the LinuxServer image pinned by digest, a single container on SQLite with settings, users and databases on the ombi_config volume. There is no preset administrator: you finish the setup wizard to create it. No media server is bundled; you connect your own Plex, Emby or Jellyfin.
An Ombi install normally means a container, a config volume, a timezone, a domain and a certificate before the setup wizard. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Ombi from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server and set the Timezone (IANA name, default UTC).
Step 02
One click. We bring up the LinuxServer Ombi image, pinned by immutable digest, as a single container with no other services, mount the ombi_config volume and publish it over HTTPS on your domain. The first start takes a minute or two while Ombi creates its databases.
Step 03
Open your HTTPS URL and finish the setup wizard right away, creating the administrator account with a strong password. Then, under Settings, connect your media server and, if you use them, Sonarr, Radarr and notification agents.
Ombi runs in full here: a request portal on your own domain, with its databases on a volume you own.
Let users request movies and TV shows instead of messaging you.
Approve or auto-approve requests, then hand them to Sonarr or Radarr.
Notify requesters when a title becomes available.
Connect Ombi to Plex, Emby and Jellyfin.
There is no separate database service to manage.
Settings, users and databases live on the ombi_config volume; verification confirmed users and settings remained after a restart.
Managed hosting for Ombi, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Let users request titles in the portal instead of messaging you.
Approve or auto-approve requests, then pass them to Sonarr or Radarr.
Notify requesters when a title becomes available.
Connect your media server under Settings so the portal reflects what you already have.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

Yes. Ombi is GPL-2.0 software, so there is no licence fee and no per-requester charge. You pay for the Cloud VPS that holds the ombi_config volume with its SQLite databases, while the media server you connect is a separate matter.
The manifest floor is 512 MB RAM, one core and 2 GB disk; Ombi itself sat near 139 MiB idle in QA. The 6 GB tier leaves space on the same server for a media server or the Sonarr and Radarr containers you hand requests to.
Yes, and this template is Ombi Docker hosting without the setup: the LinuxServer 4.53.10 image pinned by digest as one container on SQLite, the ombi_config volume mounted, a timezone you choose and HTTPS on your own domain. There is no database sidecar.
Yes. Ombi connects to Plex, Emby and Jellyfin and hands approved requests to Sonarr and Radarr, all configured under Settings after the wizard. No media server is bundled, so you connect the one you already run.
Both are request portals for Plex, Jellyfin and Emby libraries with Sonarr and Radarr integration, and Seerr has its own OneClick page here. Compare their notification options and media-server support against your setup before choosing.
Only after setup. Until the wizard is finished, anyone who can reach the site can claim the administrator account, and the wizard accepts a very short password. Afterwards every page and API call except sign-in and health endpoints needs a login.
There is no preset account. Open the HTTPS URL and finish the setup wizard straight away; the account you create becomes the administrator. Choose a strong password, and consider Basic Auth at your proxy, which the template does not enable.
Back up the complete ombi_config volume, which holds the SQLite databases, database.json and logs, while Ombi is stopped or quiet. Treat it as sensitive, because media-server tokens, Sonarr and Radarr API keys and SMTP passwords live there.
You stay on Ombi 4.53.10 until you adopt a newer template version. Copy ombi_config first and read the release notes, and never point an older image at a database that a newer one has already migrated. Nothing upgrades the app for you.
Ombi sends anonymous usage statistics by default and has no environment variable to switch that off. You can turn it off inside the app under Settings, Configuration, so check it right after the setup wizard.
This page is your own Ombi cloud: a dedicated Cloud VPS running the open-source portal, with requests and settings on a volume you control. It is a private instance rather than a shared service, so you choose who can sign in.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
