Opik hosting on xCloud lets you deploy Opik and trace, evaluate and monitor your LLM applications and agents on a server you own. xCloud runs the pinned stack, the web UI and REST API with MySQL, ClickHouse, ZooKeeper, Redis and MinIO on a private network, with generated secrets, persistent volumes and HTTPS on your domain. Opik has no login, so restrict access before sending real data.
Opik is an open-source LLM observability and evaluation platform from Comet for tracing, evaluating and monitoring LLM applications and agents. It logs LLM calls, nested function calls and multi-step agent traces, and adds datasets, experiments, LLM-as-a-judge metrics, a prompt playground and production dashboards. A self-hosted Opik is an LLM tracing server of your own, an alternative to hosted services such as LangSmith, under the Apache-2.0 licence.
On xCloud it is Opik 2.2.99 from the official Comet images pinned by digest, with MySQL for metadata, ClickHouse and ZooKeeper for traces and analytics, and Redis and MinIO for caching and attachments, all private. Six named volumes hold the data. There are no user accounts: every request is the default user in the default workspace, so you point the SDK at your /api address and restrict access at the proxy.
A self-hosted Opik stack normally means a frontend, a backend, a Python backend and five data services, with secrets, volumes and a certificate to match. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Opik from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server — there are no extra fields to fill in.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the official Comet frontend, backend and python-backend images with private MySQL, Redis, ClickHouse, ZooKeeper and MinIO services, all pinned by immutable digest and none with host ports, mount the persistent volumes, generate the secrets, and publish the frontend over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Save the encryption key from the protected installation credentials and allow about 5 to 10 minutes for the first boot to run database migrations. Then point the Opik SDK at your SDK URL (your domain plus /api), for example with OPIK_URL_OVERRIDE, and send a trace.
Opik runs in full here: tracing, evaluation and a web UI on your own domain, with the data in volumes you own.
Trace LLM calls and agent runs from the Opik SDK and read them back in the web UI.
Use datasets, experiments and feedback scores to evaluate prompts and models.
LLM provider API keys saved in the UI are encrypted with a per-install generated encryption key.
Send traces to your own SDK URL with no API key; the workspace is "default".
Anonymous usage reporting to the vendor is switched off in this template.
Projects, traces, datasets and attachments live in named volumes. The verify run restarted every container and a trace written earlier was still returned by the API and shown in the UI.
Managed hosting for Opik, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Read back each LLM call and agent run as a trace, with nested function calls, to see what happened inside a request when an answer comes back wrong.
Run experiments over datasets and record feedback scores, including LLM-as-a-judge metrics, so a prompt or model change is judged on results instead of impressions.
Send traces to your own SDK URL so prompts, outputs and datasets are stored on a server you control, which matters when the content is customer data.
Point several applications at the same Opik URL and review their projects in one place, with dashboards for trace counts, token usage and feedback scores.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

The template floor is 4096 MB of RAM, 2 CPU cores and 20 GB of disk, because the stack runs a JVM backend, ClickHouse, MySQL and ZooKeeper. QA measured about 2.3 GB idle, so this page sells the 16 GB plan for headroom.
Yes, and this template is opik docker hosting without the setup: the official frontend, backend and python-backend images with MySQL, Redis, ClickHouse, ZooKeeper and MinIO, all pinned by digest, six named volumes, generated secrets and HTTPS on your own domain.
No. Self-hosted Opik uses a fixed default user and the default workspace, with no login. That is why access must be restricted at the proxy, since anyone who can reach the domain has full access.
Yes. Anyone who can open the domain can read and delete projects, save provider keys and run custom Python metrics. Restrict access with xCloud Basic Authentication or an IP allowlist before sending real data; this template does not enable either.
Set the SDK URL shown after install, your domain plus /api, as the Opik endpoint in your application, for example with the OPIK_URL_OVERRIDE environment variable. No API key is needed and the workspace is always default.
Upstream lists it in the same LLM observability category as LangSmith and Langfuse. Opik is Apache-2.0 for the full platform, backend included, and self-hosts without a commercial licence, so traces, datasets and experiments stay on your own Cloud VPS.
Yes. Opik is Apache-2.0 licensed and upstream calls the full platform free to self-host. What you pay for is the Cloud VPS, so this Opik cloud install is yours alone, apart from the hosted Comet service.
Back up the named volumes together, stopping the stack first for a consistent copy: opik_mysql, opik_clickhouse, opik_clickhouse_logs, opik_zookeeper, opik_redis and opik_minio. Keep the encryption key too.
The install stays on its pinned 2.2.99 images until you adopt a newer template version. Back up every volume first, then check the upstream release notes. No upgrade is automatic, and migrations run at the next start.
No. The Docker code-executor strategy and guardrails need a privileged or GPU setup that this template does not provide. Custom Python metrics run as processes inside the python-backend container instead.
Provider API keys saved in the UI become unreadable and must be entered again. Leave the generated database, cache and object-storage secrets unchanged too, because MySQL reads its passwords only on first start.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
