Deploy PgHero hosting and get a password-protected PostgreSQL performance dashboard on your own domain. xCloud runs the pinned PgHero 4.0.1 image as a single stateless container, generates a 32-character dashboard login and publishes it over HTTPS. You enter the connection URL of the database to monitor, and PgHero shows its slow queries, suggested indexes and live connections without installing anything on that database.
PgHero is a performance dashboard for Postgres. Pointed at an existing database, it shows slow and frequent queries, suggested indexes, unused and bloated indexes, table sizes and live connections. Self-hosted PgHero is the alternative to hosted database monitoring that keeps query data on a server you control, under the MIT licence.
On xCloud it is PgHero 4.0.1, the official ankane/pghero image pinned by digest, as one stateless container with no volume and no bundled database. You enter the PostgreSQL connection URL at install, and the dashboard sits behind a generated login for the username admin. Nothing else is stored locally. Query history stays off until you create the pghero tables in the monitored database and schedule the capture commands yourself.
A self-hosted PgHero normally means running the container, protecting the dashboard, wiring a connection URL and issuing a certificate. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick PgHero from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server, then enter the PostgreSQL connection URL (postgres://user:password@host:5432/dbname) of the database to monitor.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the official PgHero image pinned by immutable digest as a single container bound to localhost, generate the dashboard username and password, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain. No database is bundled and PgHero keeps no local state.
Step 03
Save the username admin and the generated password from the protected installation credentials, then open your HTTPS PgHero URL and sign in. If the dashboard shows a connection error, allow this server in the database firewall and pg_hba.conf, correct DATABASE_URL and redeploy.
PgHero runs in full here: a PostgreSQL performance dashboard on your own domain, pointed at the database you choose.
Find slow and frequent queries, using the pg_stat_statements extension on the monitored database.
Spot suggested indexes, unused and bloated indexes, and large tables.
Watch connections and long-running queries on a running database.
Monitor a managed or external Postgres, or one on the same server through host.docker.internal.
The dashboard sits behind a generated 32-character login over HTTPS; requests without it get 401.
PgHero keeps no local state. After a restart the verify run still saw the query statistics, which live in the monitored database.
Managed hosting for PgHero, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Review slow and frequent queries from the pg_stat_statements extension on the monitored database, then decide what to fix first.
Look at suggested indexes alongside unused and bloated ones before you add or drop any.
See connections and long-running queries on a running database while an incident is happening.
Point the dashboard at a database hosted elsewhere, or on the same server, with nothing installed on the database itself.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

Yes. Upstream ships PgHero as a Docker image, and this template is PgHero Docker hosting without the wiring: the 4.0.1 image pinned by digest, bound to localhost, with a generated login and HTTPS. It is your own PgHero cloud dashboard on a dedicated server, with nothing stored locally.
The template declares a baseline of 512 MB RAM and 2 GB disk on 1 CPU core. The 6 GB plan is the entry rung here, which leaves room for other tools on the server. PgHero keeps no data of its own and mounts no volume.
Yes, PgHero is MIT-licensed, so it costs nothing to run. xCloud bills only the dedicated Cloud VPS underneath, cancellable whenever you like. The database being watched stays wherever you already host it, and PgHero connects to it with the role you give it.
Open your HTTPS address and use the username admin with the generated password from the installation credentials. It is a single shared login re-applied from the environment on every start, so change it in the Environment editor. Removing the password would leave the dashboard open to anyone.
Yes. Use host.docker.internal as the hostname in the connection URL, provided Postgres listens on an address the Docker bridge can reach and pg_hba.conf allows the connection. A managed or external database works the same way with its own hostname.
The monitored database is not reachable from this server. Check its host, port, firewall and pg_hba.conf, URL-encode any special characters in the username or password, correct DATABASE_URL in the Environment editor and redeploy. A reload shows whether it connects.
History is off until you create the pghero tables in the monitored database; the SQL is in upstream's Docker guide. You then schedule two rake commands from the server's cron, one every five minutes and one daily. The template does not schedule them for you.
Anyone who can sign in sees query text, table sizes and activity, and can terminate running queries, run EXPLAIN and reset query statistics on the monitored database. Share the login only with people you would trust with that database, and connect with a least-privileged role.
There is no PgHero volume to back up, because the container keeps no state. Keep the database's own backups, which also cover the history tables if you created them, and keep a copy of the connection URL and login values from the environment.
The install stays on pinned 4.0.1 until you adopt a newer template version. Check upstream's release notes first, including any notes on database tables; with no volume, a redeploy is quick. Nothing upgrades automatically on an existing site.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
