solidtime hosting on xCloud lets you deploy solidtime, a modern open-source time-tracking app for freelancers and agencies, on your own domain. xCloud runs the pinned application with private PostgreSQL and a PDF renderer, generates the application key and the administrator password, keeps two volumes for your data and publishes it over HTTPS. The first account is already verified, so no mail server is needed.
solidtime is a modern open-source time-tracking app for freelancers and agencies, built with Laravel and Vue. It tracks time against clients, projects and tasks, supports billable rates at project, project-member, organization-member and organization level, several organizations under one account, roles and permissions, and imports from Toggl, Clockify and Timeentry CSV. A self-hosted solidtime is open-source time tracking on your own server, an alternative to Toggl. It is licensed AGPL-3.0.
On xCloud it is solidtime 0.19.1, the official image pinned by digest, with PostgreSQL 15 and Gotenberg for PDF exports, all private to the install. The solidtime_database and solidtime_storage volumes hold the data. xCloud creates the first administrator with your email and a generated password, and it generates the application key, which you must keep stable.
A solidtime stack normally means an app container, PostgreSQL, a PDF renderer, a queue worker, a scheduler, secrets, volumes, a domain and a certificate before the first timer. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick solidtime from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server, then enter the administrator email — the only app-specific field.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the official solidtime image, pinned by immutable digest, with a private PostgreSQL 15 database, a Gotenberg PDF renderer, a queue worker and a scheduler, none with a public port. The solidtime_database and solidtime_storage volumes persist your data, the database and application secrets are generated, and the app is published over HTTPS.
Step 03
Open your HTTPS URL and sign in with the administrator email and the generated password from the credentials panel; the account is already verified, so no SMTP is needed. Create a client and project, and start the timer. Add SMTP MAIL_* values later only to invite other users.
solidtime runs in full here: time tracking for clients, projects and tasks on your own domain, backed by a database you own.
Create clients, assign projects to them and break projects into tasks, then track time against any of them.
Set billable rates for projects, project members, organization members and the organization itself.
Overview, detailed and shared reporting views, with PDF export rendered by the bundled Gotenberg service.
Day-to-day tracking through timer, timesheet and calendar views.
Run one or several organizations with members and roles, so a team can track time together.
Bring existing time data over from Toggl, Clockify or a Timeentry CSV rather than starting empty.
Managed hosting for solidtime, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Log time against a client, project and task, so a freelancer can see what each engagement has cost in hours and what to bill for.
Set rates per project, per project member or per organization member, so a mixed team with different prices produces correct billable totals.
Keep each client company or business unit in its own organization with its own roles, so an agency separates work without separate logins.
Import existing entries from Toggl, Clockify or a Timeentry CSV, so a switch to your own server does not start from an empty history.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

The template floor is 4096 MB of RAM, 1 CPU core and 10 GB of disk, because PostgreSQL, the app and a PDF renderer all run. This page sells the 16 GB plan, which leaves room for reports above that floor.
Yes, and this template is solidtime docker hosting without the setup: the official image, PostgreSQL 15 and Gotenberg pinned by digest, two named volumes, a generated application key and administrator password, and HTTPS on your own domain.
Use the administrator email you entered and the generated password from your credentials. The account is already verified, so no SMTP is needed. Keep APP_KEY stable, because changing it invalidates encrypted data and sessions.
Only to invite or register other users, who must verify their email. Add MAIL_ settings in the Environment editor and redeploy. The first administrator can sign in without any mail server.
Yes. Upstream lists imports from Toggl, Clockify and Timeentry CSV. Run the import from inside the app after you sign in, and check a sample of entries and rates before relying on the new history.
For tracking billable time, yes. Upstream offers imports from both but publishes no comparison. Self-hosting means you run the server and backups, and you hold the time data yourself.
Yes. solidtime is released under AGPL-3.0 at no charge. Only the Cloud VPS costs money, so this solidtime cloud install is yours, separate from the hosted service upstream runs.
Back up the PostgreSQL volume solidtime_database together with solidtime_storage, in one window, and keep APP_KEY with them. Do this before upgrades or key changes, keep a copy off the server and test a restore.
solidtime stays on its pinned 0.19.1 image until a newer template version is adopted. Copy both volumes beforehand and check the release notes. No upgrade is automatic; redeploying keeps your data.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
