SoulSync hosting on xCloud lets you deploy SoulSync and run your own music library manager on your own domain. xCloud runs the pinned SoulSync 3.5.4 image behind a password-protected HTTPS gateway, generates the login, mounts five persistent volumes for the database, settings, downloads, staging and library, and gets you to the setup wizard in minutes. You connect your own download sources.
SoulSync is a self-hosted music library manager. It connects to streaming-service playlists and artist watchlists, finds the tracks through the download sources you configure, then tags, organises and writes them into a library folder. Its upstream README pitches it as replacing a stack of Arr apps, taggers and scripts, and it also covers podcasts and audiobooks. A self-hosted SoulSync is MIT licensed.
On xCloud the template runs SoulSync 3.5.4 from the official image, pinned by digest. SoulSync has no login of its own by default, so an nginx Basic Auth gateway with a generated password protects the whole site. Five volumes hold the data, settings, downloads, organised library and staging files. Soulseek, Prowlarr and torrent clients are not bundled, and Spotify and Tidal sign-in callbacks are not published.
A SoulSync stack normally means an app container, a login in front of it, five volumes, a domain and a certificate before the first track. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick SoulSync from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server — there are no extra fields to fill in.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the official SoulSync image, pinned by immutable digest, behind a Basic Auth gateway, mount the data, config, downloads, transfer and staging volumes, generate the gateway password, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Open your HTTPS SoulSync URL and sign in with the username and password shown in the installation credentials. In the setup wizard use /app/Transfer as the music output folder, then connect your download sources in Settings.
SoulSync runs in full here: a music library manager and web player on your own domain, with its library on volumes you own.
Connect streaming-service playlists and artist watchlists, and SoulSync finds the tracks through the download sources you configure.
Tracks are tagged, organised and written into a library folder, backed by the soulsync_transfer volume at /app/Transfer.
Play from the browser with a queue, radio modes and lyrics.
Manage podcasts and audiobooks alongside your music in the same app.
Download sources and a media server such as Plex, Jellyfin or Navidrome are connected from Settings; none are bundled.
The site accepts request bodies up to 1 GiB, and the import page uploads files in 8 MiB chunks.
Managed hosting for SoulSync, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Point SoulSync at streaming playlists and artist watchlists and have the tracks tagged and organised into a folder structure on your own server.
Let SoulSync tag and organise incoming files into one library folder instead of sorting downloads by hand.
Use the built-in web player with its queue, radio modes and lyrics, and manage podcasts and audiobooks in the same app.
Write the organised library to a persistent volume and connect a media server such as Plex, Jellyfin or Navidrome from Settings.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Yes. SoulSync is MIT licensed, so the manager itself costs nothing. The Cloud VPS is the bill from xCloud, and the disk your library, downloads and staging files fill is what grows over time, so size storage for the music you plan to keep.
The floor is one core, 512 MB of RAM and 10 GB of disk, and QA measured about 222 MiB idle. A library takes far more disk than the app takes memory, so size the storage for the music you plan to keep.
Yes, and this template is SoulSync Docker hosting without the setup: the official ghcr.io/nezreka/soulsync 3.5.4 image pinned by digest, an nginx login gateway, five named volumes, and HTTPS on your domain. The app container itself publishes no port.
Use the username soulsync and the generated password from your credentials card. SoulSync has no admin account of its own, so the Basic Auth gateway covers the whole site and its API. You can enable SoulSync's own login in Settings on top.
No, not behind the site domain. Spotify and Tidal redirect your browser to ports 8888 and 8889, which this template does not publish, so those flows do not complete. Use another supported source, or follow upstream's Docker OAuth notes.
No. Soulseek (slskd), Prowlarr and torrent clients are not bundled. The interface works without them, but downloading needs a download source connected from Settings. Sync and downloads were not exercised in QA because they need external accounts.
Choose /app/Transfer, which is backed by the soulsync_transfer volume, so your organised library survives restarts. The import page uploads in 8 MiB chunks and the site accepts requests up to 1 GiB, unless a proxy in front lowers that.
Back up all five volumes: soulsync_data, soulsync_config, soulsync_downloads, soulsync_transfer and soulsync_staging. soulsync_config matters most, because config.json with your service credentials is only copied from defaults when missing. SoulSync does not back these volumes up itself, so schedule server or volume backups and keep an off-server copy of the library too.
The install stays on SoulSync 3.5.4 until you adopt a newer template version. Copy all five volumes first and read the upstream release notes. A redeploy keeps the volumes, and nothing upgrades the app automatically.
This page is your own SoulSync cloud: a dedicated Cloud VPS running the open-source manager, with your database, settings and library on volumes of your own. Nobody else shares it, and the gateway keeps the site private.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
