Stash hosting keeps your own media organizer behind a sign-in on your own domain. Deploy Stash v0.31.1 as a self-hosted media library organizer: xCloud runs the pinned official image, creates the account you chose at install with its password stored only as a bcrypt hash, mounts persistent volumes for configuration, library, metadata and covers, and publishes it over HTTPS with sign-in required on every page.
Self-hosted Stash is a media library organizer. Its README describes a self-hosted web app written in Go that organizes and serves a diverse content collection, for both SFW and NSFW needs. It gathers information about videos from the internet, supports a wide variety of video and image formats, lets you tag videos and find them later, and shows statistics about performers, tags and studios. It is extensible with community-built plugins and licensed under AGPL-3.0.
On xCloud the template runs the stashapp/stash v0.31.1 image pinned by immutable digest, plus a small init container that seeds the sign-in account once and exits. Five persistent volumes hold configuration, library, generated files, metadata and blobs, and a sixth holds temporary cache files. HTTPS is published on your domain, sign-in is required for every page and the GraphQL API, and there is no sign-up and no DLNA.
A Stash install normally means a container, several mounted paths, a sign-in configuration, a reverse proxy with a raised upload limit, a domain and a certificate before the first scan. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Stash from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and server, then set the sign-in username and password — leave the password empty to have one generated.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the official Stash image, pinned by immutable digest, plus a small init container that writes the sign-in configuration before Stash starts, mount the stash_config, stash_data, stash_generated, stash_metadata, stash_blobs and stash_cache volumes, and publish it over HTTPS with a 1 GB upload limit.
Step 03
Open your HTTPS Stash URL and sign in; the first start takes about a minute. Copy media into the library folder (/data), then open Settings, Tasks and run a Scan.
Stash runs in full here: a sign-in-protected media organizer in the browser, with your library and database on persistent volumes.
Point Stash at the library folder and scan it, then browse the collection from any browser.
Tag items and group them so you can find them again later.
Fetch metadata with community-built scrapers and plugins, downloaded from the community index when you install them.
See statistics on performers, tags, studios and more across the library.
Every page and the GraphQL API require sign-in, and the setup wizard is skipped because the account is created for you.
Configuration, database, library, metadata and cover images live on persistent volumes and survive an xCloud Restart.
Managed hosting for Stash, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Scan folders of videos and images on your own server and open the collection from a browser, with sign-in required for every page so nothing is exposed to the public.
Tag items and group them, then use the statistics on performers, tags and studios to find things again as a big library grows beyond what folder names can hold.
Install community-built scrapers and plugins from the community index to gather information about videos from the internet instead of typing every detail by hand.
Hold the database, configuration and media on volumes of a Cloud VPS you control, behind one sign-in account and without a hosted service in the middle.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

Stash's manifest floor is 1 CPU core, 512 MB of RAM and 5 GB of disk, and QA measured about 21 MiB idle. Scanning and preview generation run ffmpeg and vips and need more while they run, so the 6 GB Cloud VPS sold here leaves room above the floor for those tasks.
Yes. Stash is licensed under the AGPL-3.0, per the LICENSE file at the v0.31.1 tag, so there is no licence fee. xCloud charges for the dedicated Cloud VPS it runs on, and your library, database and configuration stay in your own volumes.
Yes, and this is Stash Docker hosting prepared for you: the template runs the official stashapp/stash v0.31.1 image, pinned by immutable digest, with six named volumes mounted, a one-off init container for the sign-in account and HTTPS in front on your domain.
Copy files into the library folder, /data inside the container, for example with docker cp from the folder that holds them, then open Settings > Tasks and run a Scan. The library starts empty, and browser uploads are limited to 1 GB here.
Per its README, Stash gathers information about videos from the internet and is extensible through community-built plugins. You install scrapers and plugins from the community package index, so Stash contacts that index when you do. Review what you install, since they run on your server.
No. Sign-in is required for every page and for the GraphQL API, there is no sign-up, and the setup wizard is skipped because the account is created for you. The username and password are in the protected installation credentials.
No. DLNA is not available on this platform, so devices that rely on DLNA discovery cannot find the library. Use a browser, which is how this install is meant to be used, through the HTTPS address and your sign-in.
Stash contacts api.github.com to check for new releases and downloads scrapers and plugins from the community index when you install them. It sends no telemetry. Changing the password later is done in Settings > Security, since environment edits do nothing after first start.
A backup is stash_config, which holds configuration and the database, together with stash_blobs and stash_metadata, ideally with the app stopped, plus stash_data for the media itself. Test a restore before you rely on the copy, and keep it off the server.
Nothing upgrades it for you: the template pins Stash v0.31.1 by immutable digest. Copy your volumes first, go through the upstream release notes, then adopt a newer template version when one is published, and confirm sign-in and a scan still work.
It is your own Stash on a dedicated Cloud VPS that xCloud provisions, not a hosted library service. The container, the six volumes and the sign-in account belong to your install, and the web interface is served over HTTPS on your domain.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
