TraLa Hosting Live In 5 Minutes

Deploy TraLa hosting and give yourself a searchable start page for every link and service you run, on a domain you control. xCloud runs the pinned TraLa 0.18.2 image behind an HTTP Basic Auth gateway with a generated password, keeps your link list on a persistent volume and publishes the dashboard over HTTPS in minutes.

What is TraLa?

TraLa is an open-source, MIT-licensed dashboard for your links and services. It shows them as a searchable grid with automatic icons, optional grouping by tag, and light and dark themes that follow the visitor's OS.

It is built for Traefik setups: it can read a Traefik API to list HTTP routers, and it can also show manual links for anything else. On xCloud it ships with a minimal Traefik instance that has no routers, so the dashboard starts with your manual links.

From Sign-Up to a Live Dashboard In Just 3 Easy Steps

A private TraLa normally means the app, a Traefik API for it to read, an authentication layer, a volume, a domain and a certificate before the first link appears. This is the same result without assembling any of it.

  1. Step 01

Create your xCloud account and pick TraLa from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server, then enter the admin username (it defaults to admin).

  2. Step 02

    We Deploy It For You

One click. We bring up the official TraLa image pinned by immutable digest, a small private Traefik instance with no routers and no Docker socket, and a Caddy gateway that enforces Basic Auth with your generated password. The trala_config volume holds your link list, and the dashboard is published over HTTPS on your domain.

  3. Step 03

Sign In And Add Your Links

Open your HTTPS TraLa URL and sign in at the browser's login prompt with the username and the generated password. The dashboard opens with one sample link; add your own by editing /config/configuration.yml over SSH as root, then restart the container.

Everything TraLa Does, On Your Own Server

TraLa runs in full here: a searchable grid of your links and services on your own domain, behind a login from the first minute.

  • Searchable Link Grid

Your links and services appear as one grid with search, so any of them is a few keystrokes away.

  • Automatic Icons

TraLa finds icons for your services automatically using the selfh.st icon collection. They load from a public CDN in the visitor's browser.

  • Grouping By Tag

Services can be grouped automatically based on tags, which keeps a long list of links organised.

  • Manual Links

Add any service that is not managed by Traefik as a manual link in the one configuration file.

  • Light And Dark Themes

The theme follows the visitor's OS setting, and the interface is available in several languages including English, German, Dutch and French.

  • Private By Default Here

TraLa has no login of its own, so the Caddy gateway puts HTTP Basic Auth in front of the whole dashboard and API.

Everything You Need To Run Your Start Page 24/7

Managed hosting for TraLa, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.

  • TraLa 0.18.2 deployed instantly
  • Official image pinned by digest
  • Generated login password
  • Kept behind xCloud nginx
  • Free SSL certificate
  • Server backups and snapshots
  • Server security updates included
  • 30+ server locations
  • Unused balance refunded

What You Can Do With TraLa

  • A private home page for your homelab

Keep every self-hosted service you run one click away on a single page that only you can open.

  • A shared bookmark page for a small team

Give a team one searchable page of the internal tools and sites they use, behind a shared login.

  • A Traefik service index

TraLa can read a Traefik API to list HTTP routers as tiles, which suits setups that already run Traefik.

  • A grouped launcher for many services

Use tags to group related services, so a long list stays easy to scan.

See why agencies, developers, startups, and growing businesses choose xCloud to power their projects.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!

I've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.

I'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting

xCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.

xCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.

Trust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍

So far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.

Came from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.

I've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony Lewis
I came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowell
I like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose

Dear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

Why does the dashboard ask for a login?

TraLa has no authentication of its own, so xCloud puts a Caddy gateway with HTTP Basic Auth in front of the whole dashboard and API. You choose the username at install and the password is generated for you.

What does the dashboard show out of the box?

One sample link. The bundled Traefik instance has no routers, so add your own links as manual entries in the configuration file.

How do I add or change links?

Connect to the server over SSH and edit /config/configuration.yml inside the container as root, then restart the container. TraLa reads the file only at start, so the restart is required.

What runs alongside TraLa?

A Caddy gateway for authentication, which is the only published service on the loopback interface, and a minimal Traefik instance that exists only because TraLa needs a Traefik API to read. It has no routers, no Docker socket and no published ports.

How do I change the username or password?

Change ADMIN_USERNAME or ADMIN_PASSWORD in the site's environment, then Save & Redeploy. The gateway applies them on every start.

Where do the icons come from?

From the selfh.st icon collection, loaded from a public CDN by the visitor's browser rather than by your server.

What should I back up?

The trala_config volume, which holds /config/configuration.yml, and the environment values. Keep the generated password private.

What survives a restart or a redeploy?

Your link list. The file lives on the persistent trala_config volume, is created once and is kept across restarts and redeploys.

Does xCloud automatically back up or update TraLa?

No. The template pins TraLa 0.18.2 by immutable digest; new installations use the pinned release and existing sites are not automatically upgraded. Back up first, read the upstream release notes, then bump the readable tag and digest together on your own schedule. Server-level backups and snapshots are available on every Cloud VPS.

What are the server requirements, and why does this page sell 6 GB?

The template's baseline asks for 1 CPU core, 128 MB of RAM and 1 GB of disk; measured idle use in QA was about 41 MiB across all three containers. This page sells the 6 GB tier as the entry rung, which leaves wide headroom above that baseline.

Is xCloud officially partnered with TraLa?

No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the TraLa project has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source TraLa project.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
