Deploy TypeType hosting and run a private web player for YouTube, NicoNico and BiliBili on your own domain. xCloud runs the pinned TypeType 1.10.0 stack with a private API server, headless browser helper, downloader, PostgreSQL and cache, creates the administrator account from your install form, mounts persistent volumes and publishes the web app over HTTPS in minutes — accounts, subscriptions, playlists and history stay on the server you control.
TypeType is an open-source, self-hosted video platform for YouTube, NicoNico and BiliBili. You run one instance and use it from the responsive web app; accounts, subscriptions, history, playlists, favorites, watch progress and settings stay on the instance you control.
The project adds no TypeType telemetry, so the operator of the instance decides what is stored and who can reach it. The stack is made of a web app, a Kotlin API server, a headless browser helper, a downloader, PostgreSQL and a cache, each maintained in its own upstream repository.
A TypeType stack normally means a web container, an API server, a browser helper, a downloader, a database, a cache, secrets, a domain and a certificate before the first video plays. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick TypeType from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server, then enter the Administrator Email for the first TypeType account.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the official TypeType web app, API server, browser helper and downloader images, pinned by immutable digest, with a private PostgreSQL database and cache kept off the public internet, mount the postgres_data and downloader_data volumes, generate the secrets and the administrator password, and publish the web app over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
The first start sets up the database and can take two to three minutes. Then open your HTTPS TypeType URL, sign in with your Administrator Email and the password shown in the protected installation credentials, and review the registration and guest-access settings in the admin console before you add subscriptions or playlists.
TypeType runs in full here: a web player for several video platforms with a personal library, a downloader and an admin console, backed by a database you own.
Browse and watch video from YouTube, NicoNico and BiliBili in one responsive web app served from your own domain.
Each person gets subscriptions, history, playlists, favorites and watch progress, stored in your PostgreSQL volume rather than on a third-party service.
Upstream provides MSE and SABR playback with quality, audio-track and subtitle controls, plus SponsorBlock and DeArrow support.
A downloader service creates video and audio downloads and keeps the finished files on the downloader_data volume, which holds temporary artifacts.
An init step registers the first administrator from your install-form email and a generated password, so nobody else can claim the role on first start.
OpenID Connect sign-in and web push notifications are optional upstream features you can switch on from the environment settings; they are off until you do.
Managed hosting for TypeType, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Give yourself or a small group a web player on your own domain, with subscriptions and watch progress kept on a server you control.
Create an account per person so everyone keeps their own subscriptions, playlists, favorites and history on the same instance.
Search and watch YouTube, NicoNico and BiliBili from the same app instead of switching between three sites.
Use the built-in downloader to create video and audio downloads without a separate tool.
Use the admin console to manage users and decide whether registration and guest access stay open.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

Use the Administrator Email you entered on the install form and the generated password shown in the protected installation credentials. The first start sets up the database, so allow two to three minutes and refresh if the page is not ready.
By default, yes. Registration and guest access are open (upstream behaviour), and the administrator can turn both off in the admin console. In QA, a later registrant received a normal user role and the first-run claim window was closed.
An API server, a headless browser helper, a downloader, PostgreSQL and a Dragonfly cache. Only the web container is published through xCloud-managed HTTPS; the others stay on the install's private network with no host ports.
No. Anyone who can reach the site can browse, and register unless you disable it. For a private instance, turn off registration and guest access in the admin console.
Not guaranteed. TypeType fetches media from the source platforms from your server's IP address, and datacenter IP addresses may be rate limited by YouTube. An outbound proxy can be configured through the YOUTUBE_OUTBOUND_PROXY_URL setting.
The postgres_data volume (for example with pg_dump), which holds accounts, library and history, plus the stable values in the install's environment file. downloader_data only holds temporary download files.
Accounts, playlists and history are stored on the postgres_data named volume, and they were still present after an xCloud Restart in QA.
ALLOWED_ORIGINS follows the site domain and is rewritten when the domain changes. To allow additional origins, add them to EXTRA_ALLOWED_ORIGINS in the environment settings and use Save & Redeploy.
Both are optional upstream features. The environment file lists the OpenID Connect and push settings as commented lines; uncomment them and use Save & Redeploy. Neither is enabled by default.
Library imports up to 2 GB are accepted. If a Cloudflare proxy sits in front of the site, a single request is capped at about 100 MB.
No. The template pins TypeType 1.10.0 and every image by immutable digest; new installations use the pinned release, existing sites are not automatically upgraded. Back up first, read the upstream release notes, then bump the readable tag and digest together on your own schedule. Server-level backups and snapshots are available on every Cloud VPS.
The template's baseline asks for 2 CPU cores, 2048 MB of RAM and 10 GB of disk; measured idle use in QA was about 470 MiB. This page sells the 6 GB tier as the entry rung, with real headroom above that baseline.
No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the TypeType project has been verified, and TypeType itself states it is not affiliated with YouTube, Google, NicoNico or BiliBili. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source TypeType project.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No credit card required, and no plan you have to grow into.
