Endurain Hosting Live In 5 Minutes

Deploy Endurain hosting and keep your workouts, routes and health data on a server you control. xCloud runs the pinned Endurain v0.19.3 image with a private PostgreSQL 18 database, generates the administrator password, mounts persistent volumes and publishes the app over HTTPS in minutes — no compose files, reverse proxy or certificates to assemble.

What is Endurain?

Endurain is a self-hosted fitness tracking service, similar to Strava but focused on privacy and customization. You import activities from GPX, TCX and FIT files, or sync them from Strava and Garmin Connect, and browse them with maps, pace, elevation and stats.

This template deploys v0.19.3 with its own PostgreSQL database, so your workouts, routes and health data are stored on the server you rent rather than in a vendor's account.

From Sign-Up to Your Own Fitness Tracker In 3 Easy Steps

A self-hosted fitness tracker normally means an application container, a database, generated secrets, volumes, a domain and a certificate before the first workout. This is the same result without assembling any of it.

  1. Step 01

Create your xCloud account and pick Endurain from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server — there are no extra fields to fill in.

  2. Step 02

    We Deploy It For You

One click. We bring up the official Endurain image and a private PostgreSQL 18 database kept off the public internet, both pinned by immutable digest, mount the endurain_data, endurain_db and endurain_logs volumes, generate the secrets and the administrator password, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain.

  3. Step 03

    Sign In And Import

Save the administrator password shown in the protected installation credentials. The first boot runs migrations and can take two to three minutes; then open your HTTPS URL, sign in as admin, add your profile details and import a GPX, TCX or FIT file or connect Strava or Garmin Connect.

Everything Endurain Does, On Your Own Server

Endurain runs in full here: a fitness tracking web app on your own domain, backed by a database you own.

  • GPX, TCX And FIT Import

Upload activity files and browse them with maps, pace, elevation and stats.

  • Strava And Garmin Connect Sync

Upstream supports syncing with Strava and Garmin Connect, so existing history can be brought in.

  • Your Training History, Your Server

Activities, media and the database live in named volumes on your own server instead of a third-party service.

  • Accounts You Control

Self-registration is off by default; the administrator creates the accounts that can sign in.

  • Private PostgreSQL Included

PostgreSQL 18 is reachable only inside the install's private network, with no published port.

  • Large Imports Allowed

The proxy is set to accept request bodies up to 500 MB, the size of the largest bulk-import archive Endurain takes.

Everything You Need To Run Your Fitness Tracker 24/7

Managed hosting for Endurain, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.

  • Endurain v0.19.3 deployed instantly
  • Official image pinned by digest
  • Admin password generated for you
  • Kept behind xCloud nginx
  • Free SSL certificate
  • Server backups and snapshots
  • Server security updates included
  • 30+ server locations
  • Unused balance refunded

What You Can Do With Endurain

  • Own your training history

Keep years of runs, rides and workouts on your own server instead of a third-party service.

  • Bring in files from your devices

Upload GPX, TCX and FIT files from watches and bike computers and look at each route on a map with pace and elevation.

  • Mirror Strava or Garmin Connect

Connect your Strava or Garmin Connect account so activities recorded there also appear in your own instance.

  • A tracker for a small group

Self-registration is off by default, so the administrator decides which accounts exist — useful for a household or a small club.

FitTrackee
Another self-hosted outdoor activity tracker for importing, mapping and analysing workouts.

Hear what people are saying about us

See why agencies, developers, startups, and growing businesses choose xCloud to power their projects.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian Geovanny
I've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.

I'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting

xCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.

xCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.

Trust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍

So far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo Villa
Came from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson El
I've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony Lewis
I came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowell
I like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose

Dear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

How do I sign in?

Use the username admin and the generated password from the installation credentials. The upstream default admin/admin login is replaced during install and does not work.

What runs alongside Endurain?

A private PostgreSQL 18 database container, pinned by digest, with no host ports published.

Can I import my activities?

Yes. GPX, TCX and FIT files can be uploaded, and Strava and Garmin Connect are supported integrations.

Can other people register themselves?

No. Self-registration is off by default; the administrator creates accounts.

Why is the page not answering right after install?

The first boot runs database migrations and can take two to three minutes, so the page may not respond straight away.

Does my location data stay on my server?

Activities are stored on your server, but imported routes are geocoded through public services (nominatim.openstreetmap.org by default), and the web page checks api.github.com for new releases. You can change the provider with REVERSE_GEO_PROVIDER in the Environment editor.

Are profile pictures and activity photos private?

Not entirely. Profile pictures and uploaded activity photos are served at direct file URLs that do not check for a sign-in; everything else requires an account.

Is email set up?

No. Email is not configured by default, so password-reset mail needs SMTP settings added in the Environment editor.

What should I back up?

The endurain_data and endurain_db volumes together, plus the SECRET_KEY and FERNET_KEY values. Stop the stack first for a consistent copy, or use pg_dump for the database.

Which settings must I not change?

Keep SECRET_KEY and FERNET_KEY unchanged: a new FERNET_KEY breaks stored Strava and Garmin connections and a new SECRET_KEY signs everyone out. The generated admin password is applied only on first boot, so change it inside Endurain from your profile settings.

Does xCloud automatically back up or update Endurain?

No. The template pins Endurain v0.19.3 by immutable digest; new installations use the pinned release, existing sites are not automatically upgraded. Back up first, read the upstream release notes, then bump the image tag and digest together on your own schedule. Server-level backups and snapshots are available on every Cloud VPS.

What are the server requirements, and why does this page sell 6 GB?

The template's baseline asks for 1 CPU core, 512 MB of RAM and 5 GB of disk; measured idle use in QA was about 220 MiB across both containers. This page sells the 6 GB tier as the entry rung, with real headroom above that baseline.

What survives a restart?

Activities, media and the database live in the endurain_data, endurain_logs and endurain_db named volumes. In QA both containers restarted healthy after an xCloud Restart and activities were still viewable.

Is xCloud officially partnered with Endurain?

No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the Endurain project has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source Endurain project.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
