Deploy Faved hosting and keep your bookmarks in a private, self-hosted bookmark manager on your own domain. xCloud runs the pinned Faved 2.10.0 image behind a Caddy gateway with generated Basic Authentication, keeps the SQLite database on a persistent volume and publishes it over HTTPS in minutes. You finish a short setup page to create the one account Faved supports.
Faved is a private open-source bookmark manager built for large collections. It organises links with nested tags, fetches titles, descriptions and preview images for you, flags duplicates and imports from browser bookmark exports, Raindrop and Pocket. Run as a self-hosted Faved, it is an alternative to a hosted service such as Raindrop.io, with the code under the MIT licence and your collection in a file you hold.
On xCloud it runs as the upstream denho/faved 2.10.0 image behind a Caddy 2.10.2 gateway, both pinned by digest. The gateway adds Basic Authentication in front of everything, and an SQLite database sits on the faved_storage volume. Faved supports exactly one user and has no built-in email, and it checks api.faved.dev for updates every 12 hours.
A Faved install normally means the app container, a gateway to protect the open first-run page, a storage volume, a domain and a certificate before the first bookmark. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Faved from the OneClick catalog. Choose a domain and target server; the install form asks only for a gateway username and password, and the password is generated for you.
Step 02
One click. We start denho/faved 2.10.0 and a Caddy gateway, both pinned by digest, mount faved_storage and faved_tmp, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain behind Basic Authentication. It is ready within a minute.
Step 03
Sign in to the gateway, open /setup, click Create Database, then create your username and password. Do not choose Skip for now, because until an account exists the app is open behind the gateway.
Faved 2.10.0 runs here with its tagging, imports and fetching intact, on a server you own.
Organise bookmarks with nested tags that carry colours and descriptions, and pin the ones you use most to the sidebar.
Faved fetches titles, descriptions and preview images for each bookmark and warns you about duplicates when you add one.
Bring in a browser bookmark export, Raindrop or Pocket data to start from your existing collection.
Faved supports exactly one user. The Basic Authentication gateway protects the open first-run page until you create that account.
The database and cached images live on the faved_storage volume, so a restart keeps your bookmarks.
Upstream lists installing Faved as a progressive web app on mobile. Extensions that cannot send Basic Auth will not pass the gateway.
Managed hosting for Faved, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Save links with tags and fetched previews on a server you control, instead of a hosted bookmarking account.
Import an existing export and continue with nested tags on your own domain.
Group bookmarks under nested tags with colours and find them again with search and filters.
Install the interface as a progressive web app for quick access on mobile.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

Yes, and this template is Faved Docker hosting without the setup: the upstream denho/faved 2.10.0 image and a Caddy gateway, both pinned by digest, with an SQLite database on the faved_storage volume and HTTPS on your domain.
The template minimum is 128 MB of RAM, 1 CPU core and 1 GB of disk. Upstream sets the PHP memory limit to 256 MB per request and the upload size to 32 MB, which bounds the size of an import file. This page sells the 6 GB tier.
No. Faved supports exactly one account and has no built-in email, so there are no team accounts and no password-reset emails. If you need shared collections, pick a different bookmark manager. The gateway password is separate from that account.
Sign in to the gateway with the credentials shown, open /setup, click Create Database, then create your Faved username and password. Do not choose Skip for now. Until that account exists, anyone past the gateway can use the app.
Yes. Upstream lists imports from browser bookmark exports, Raindrop and Pocket. Export from the old service and import the file inside Faved. The upload size limit of 32 MB bounds how large one import file can be.
Not through this gateway. Browser extensions and other clients that cannot send Basic Authentication credentials will not reach Faved behind it. Use the web interface, or the installable progressive web app, signed in to the gateway.
Yes, a little. Faved contacts api.faved.dev every 12 hours and sends its version, and upstream documents no opt-out. It also fetches titles, descriptions and images from the sites you bookmark, so it is not fully offline.
Yes. Faved is open source under the MIT licence, so the software has no fee. Your plan pays for the dedicated Cloud VPS underneath, and this page sells it as Faved cloud hosting on a server of your own, not a vendor subscription.
Back up the whole faved_storage volume, which holds the SQLite database faved.db and the cached images. For a consistent copy, stop writes first. Nothing schedules this copy, so run it yourself and keep copies off the server.
The install stays on its pinned 2.10.0 image and gateway; existing sites are not upgraded automatically. To upgrade, back up faved_storage, read the Faved release notes, then adopt a newer template version without deleting volumes.
Change ADMIN_USERNAME and ADMIN_PASSWORD in the Environment editor and restart. The gateway enforces them on every start. Faved itself has no credential settings, because your only account is created at /setup. Rotating the gateway login does not change that account, which you manage inside Faved.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
