Deploy HomeButler hosting and watch your servers from one dashboard on your own domain. xCloud runs the pinned HomeButler 1.2.0 image in a single container, generates the dashboard token, mounts persistent volumes for your config, snapshots and SSH keys, and publishes it over HTTPS in minutes — your machines are reached over outbound SSH only, with no Docker socket or host networking.
HomeButler is an open-source operations toolkit distributed as a single Go binary. It remembers what your server looked like last time and tells you, or an AI agent, what moved: a container gone, a port answered by a different service, a container recreated behind the same name.
It can run from a terminal, from cron, as a web dashboard or as an MCP server. This page hosts the web dashboard: it runs in a container and reaches the machines you add over SSH, showing their status, Docker containers, open ports and alerts in a browser.
A HomeButler install normally means a container, a bearer token, three volumes, a domain and a certificate before the first server is added. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick HomeButler from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server — there are no extra fields to fill in.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the official HomeButler image, pinned by immutable digest, as a single container with no private services, mount the homebutler_config, homebutler_state and homebutler_ssh volumes, generate the Dashboard Token, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Save the Dashboard Token from the protected installation credentials, open your HTTPS HomeButler URL and paste the token into the prompt. Then open Settings and add the machines you want to watch.
HomeButler runs in full here: a token-protected web dashboard on your own domain that reaches your machines over SSH.
See CPU, memory and disk for each machine you add, in one dashboard.
The dashboard lists each watched machine's Docker containers and open ports, so you can see which container owns a port.
Set alert thresholds and notification channels (Telegram, Slack, Discord, webhook, email) from the settings screen.
HomeButler keeps snapshots and compares each report with the last one, naming containers that disappeared, appeared or were recreated behind the same name.
Add and edit servers and Proxmox endpoints in the settings screen; the config is written to a persistent volume and redeploys never overwrite it.
A generated bearer token guards the dashboard API: without it, every API call returns 401, including with a wrong token.
Managed hosting for HomeButler, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Check CPU, memory and disk across several machines from one browser tab instead of logging in to each.
Open a watched machine's ports and Docker containers together to see what is listening and which container it belongs to.
Set CPU, memory and disk thresholds, and send alerts to Telegram, Slack, Discord, a webhook or email.
Compare each report with the last snapshot to catch a container that was replaced under the same name, which a plain count would miss.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

Paste the generated Dashboard Token from the protected installation credentials into the token prompt on your HTTPS HomeButler URL. There are no user accounts; the token is the only credential.
No. It runs inside a container and cannot see the host it runs on. It watches only the machines you add under Servers, which it reaches over outbound SSH.
SSH access and the homebutler binary. Once SSH works, homebutler deploy --server <name> installs the binary over SSH. Before the binary is installed, status requests for that machine fail.
Servers are added in the settings screen, but credentials are set up in the container: for key login, put a private key in /root/.ssh; for password login, first run homebutler trust <server-name> inside the container, because HomeButler never sends a password to a host it has not been told to trust. Both need a shell inside the container on your server (docker exec).
Yes. The dashboard page itself loads, but every API call needs the bearer token and returns 401 without it, including with a wrong token. Treat the token like a password: anyone holding it can read the status of every added machine and change the settings, including stored SSH credentials.
Upstream shows a banner that it is bound to 0.0.0.0 over plain HTTP. On xCloud the container's host port is loopback-only and HTTPS ends at the web server, so the banner does not describe your public connection.
Change HOMEBUTLER_TOKEN in the environment editor, Save & Redeploy, then paste the new value into the dashboard's token prompt.
The three persistent volumes: homebutler_config (config.yaml with servers and alerts), homebutler_state (snapshots and watch incidents) and homebutler_ssh (SSH keys and known_hosts). The config and SSH keys are sensitive.
Your server list, SSH keys and snapshots. They live on persistent named volumes, and the server list and alert settings were still present after a restart in QA.
No. The template pins HomeButler 1.2.0 by immutable digest; new installations use the pinned release, existing sites are not automatically upgraded. Back up first, read the upstream release notes, then bump the readable tag and digest together on your own schedule. Server-level backups and snapshots are available on every Cloud VPS.
The template's baseline asks for 1 CPU core, 256 MB of RAM and 1 GB of disk; measured idle use in QA was about 3.4 MiB. This page sells the 6 GB tier as the entry rung, with plenty of headroom above that baseline.
No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the HomeButler project has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source HomeButler project.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No credit card required, and no plan you have to grow into.
