Deploy MediaManager hosting and run a self-hosted TV and movie manager that discovers titles, searches your indexers and organises finished files into libraries. xCloud starts the pinned image beside a private PostgreSQL database, sets the administrator from the email and password you choose and serves it over HTTPS on your domain. No download client or indexer is included: you connect your own torrent or Usenet client.
MediaManager is a self-hosted media manager for TV shows and movies, released under the AGPL-3.0 licence. Upstream presents it as the modern successor to the fragmented Arr stack, a single interface to manage, discover and automate a TV and movie collection, with TMDB and TVDB support and OAuth or OIDC sign-in. A self-hosted MediaManager covers TV and movies in one app with one login, where an Arr setup splits them across Sonarr and Radarr.
On xCloud the template runs the official quay.io/maxdorninger/mediamanager 1.12.3 image and PostgreSQL 17.11, both pinned by digest, with three volumes: mediamanager_config, mediamanager_data and mediamanager_db. It bundles no downloader or indexer, so you connect qBittorrent, Transmission or SABnzbd and Prowlarr or Jackett yourself. Metadata lookups go through the upstream author's public relay, which sees the titles searched.
Self-hosting a media library manager normally means wiring up a database, a reverse proxy and a TLS certificate before you can add a single title. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick MediaManager from the OneClick catalog, choose a domain, and enter the administrator email. Leave the password empty to have a strong one generated.
Step 02
One click. We provision the server, bring up the pinned MediaManager image alongside its PostgreSQL database, publish it over HTTPS on your domain, and run the first migrations.
Step 03
Save the administrator password from your protected installation credentials, sign in, then connect your own download client and indexer under Settings and add your first movie or show.
MediaManager runs in full here — your library, your metadata and your requests sit on infrastructure you control.
Manage TV shows and movies from one interface, with metadata pulled in from TMDB and TVDB.
Connect your own download client — qBittorrent, Transmission or SABnzbd — and an indexer like Prowlarr or Jackett; nothing is bundled.
Sign-in is required for every page and API call, and only the administrator email you choose at install gets administrator rights.
The upstream default password is replaced at install by the password you choose or xCloud generates, so nothing is left at a known value.
PostgreSQL runs alongside MediaManager on the stack's private Docker network and publishes no host port.
Configuration and logs, posters and media, and the database each live on their own persistent volume that survived a verified restart with your library and users intact.
Managed hosting for MediaManager, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Manage shows and films in a single interface instead of separate tools.
Browse metadata and request what you want to watch.
Connect your own torrent or Usenet client and indexer, and keep control of both.
Use OAuth or OIDC upstream support where your organisation already has one.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

Yes. For MediaManager Docker hosting the template runs the official quay.io/maxdorninger/mediamanager 1.12.3 image and a postgres 17.11 Alpine database, both pinned by digest. The web service listens on port 8000 on loopback and is published only through xCloud's HTTPS proxy.
MediaManager is open source under the AGPL-3.0 licence, so the manager has no licence fee. xCloud bills for the dedicated Cloud VPS and the deployment. Your torrent or Usenet client, indexer and any metadata or provider accounts are separate and billed by whoever supplies them.
The manifest asks for 512 MB of RAM, two CPU cores and 20 GB of disk across the app and PostgreSQL. Library storage grows with your media, so disk is the real limit. The 6 GB plan sold here leaves ample headroom above the memory floor.
Open your HTTPS address and sign in with the administrator email and password you chose at install. The first start runs migrations and can take a minute or two. Upstream creates the first admin with a fixed default password, which the install replaces. The session cookie is not marked Secure, so use HTTPS only.
No. MediaManager has no download client or indexer built in. After signing in, open settings and connect your own qBittorrent, Transmission or SABnzbd client and a Prowlarr or Jackett indexer. Downloads were not exercised when the template was verified, so test one end to end.
Back up all three volumes together while the stack is stopped: mediamanager_config, mediamanager_data (posters and any media under /data) and mediamanager_db (users, requests and library state). Restore into an isolated install of the same release and check sign-in before returning it to service.
Version 1.12.3 and its image digest are pinned, so later template changes never move an existing install. Back up all volumes, read the upstream release notes, then adopt a newer template version when you decide. MEDIAMANAGER environment variables override the config file on every start.
Yes. TMDB and TVDB lookups go through the upstream author's public metadata relay, which sees the titles you search for. It is not a private, self-contained lookup. Registration is reachable, but a new account sees no data unless its email is the administrator email.
Yes. MediaManager cloud use gives the manager and its database a dedicated Cloud VPS with your domain and certificate. Your download client must share the library paths with it. A server rented elsewhere can be enrolled as self-managed.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
