Deploy Rackula hosting and get a private, drag-and-drop rack designer on your own domain. xCloud runs the official Rackula v26.8.0 frontend and API images, turns on local sign-in from first start, keeps the API off the public internet and saves every layout to a persistent volume. Your rack plans live on the server rather than in one browser tab, ready to open from any machine.
Rackula is a drag-and-drop rack layout designer. Upstream says you drag devices from a real hardware library into your rack, using device images from the NetBox devicetype-library, and export layouts to PNG, PDF or SVG for documentation and change requests. It also offers bayed rack grouping, share-by-URL links and optional persistent storage with local accounts or OIDC. A self-hosted Rackula is the alternative to a hosted diagram tool, released under the MIT licence.
On xCloud it is Rackula v26.8.0 as a frontend and an API container, both pinned by digest. The API stays on the private network, and every layout, snapshot, device definition and custom asset is saved on the rackula_data volume. Local sign-in is required, with the username you choose and a generated password.
A persistent Rackula install normally means two containers, an auth secret, a data directory with the right ownership, a reverse proxy, a domain and a certificate. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account, pick Rackula from the OneClick catalog and choose a domain. Keep or change the Admin Username — xCloud generates a strong Admin Password for you.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the pinned Rackula frontend and API containers, keep the API on the private network with no published port, mount the rackula_data volume at /data and publish the frontend over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Sign in with your admin credentials, create a rack layout, drag devices in from the library and save it to server storage so it is there the next time you open it.
The full rack designer plus the persistence API, behind a sign-in, on a domain you control.
Drop devices from a real hardware library into whole-U positions, front and rear, the way rails register real equipment.
Devices render with images from the NetBox devicetype-library rather than grey boxes, so a layout looks like the rack it plans.
Export layouts to PNG, PDF or SVG for runbooks, documentation and change requests.
Hand a layout to a colleague as a link or QR code instead of a file attachment.
Group bayed racks for AV installs and multi-cabinet deployments, mapping amp racks, patch bays and processor chains side by side.
Layouts, snapshots, device definitions and custom assets are stored by the API in the rackula_data volume, not in one browser's storage.
Managed hosting for Rackula, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Drag devices into a rack from a hardware library and check the fit on screen, instead of lifting a 4U server to find out.
Export a finished layout to PNG, PDF or SVG and attach it to a runbook or a change ticket.
Send a layout by URL or QR code, with sign-in protecting the server that holds it.
Group racks into bays to map amp racks, patch bays and processor chains across several cabinets.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

Yes. Upstream is self-hostable via Docker, and this template is Rackula Docker hosting wired up for you: the frontend and API images pinned by digest, one rackula_data volume, local sign-in and HTTPS. It is your own Rackula cloud designer, with the API kept private.
Rackula declares 1 CPU core, 1024 MB RAM and 2 GB of disk for the frontend and API together. The 6 GB plan is the entry rung here. Layouts are small files, so disk use stays low unless you store many custom assets.
Yes, MIT-licensed Rackula has no fee attached. The only charge is the dedicated Cloud VPS hosting it, cancellable whenever you wish. Layouts remain files in a volume that you control, ready to export as PNG, PDF or SVG whenever you need them.
No. The template turns on built-in local sign-in from first start, with the username you choose at install and a generated 24-character password. It also enables secure cookies, CSRF protection and an exact HTTPS origin, so a visitor cannot open layouts without logging in.
On the server, in the rackula_data volume mounted at /data. It holds saved layouts, snapshots, device definitions and custom assets, and survives a restart. Layouts are saved to server storage when you choose to save them, so create a rack and save it after your first sign-in.
Upstream lists exports to PNG, PDF and SVG, which suit documentation and change requests. It can also share a layout by URL or QR code. Each export is a file you can keep with your runbooks or attach to a ticket.
Upstream offers optional auth with local accounts or OIDC for shared deployments. This template configures local sign-in only, so OIDC would need provider settings added to the environment yourself. Keep the session secret stable so existing sessions stay valid.
Change it in the site's Environment in xCloud, then recreate the containers with Save and Redeploy. A plain restart does not apply changed environment values, so the old password keeps working until you redeploy. Sessions stay valid only while the session secret is unchanged.
Back up the rackula_data volume together with the Environment configuration. It contains layouts, snapshots, device definitions and custom assets, and the session secret and write token live in the environment. Copy the volume with the app stopped, and test a restore once.
The install stays on pinned v26.8.0 until you adopt a newer template version. Back up rackula_data, read the upstream release notes, then redeploy and open a saved layout to check it. Existing sites are never upgraded automatically.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
