Deploy Skyvern on xCloud and get Skyvern hosting for LLM-driven browser automation on your own server. Describe a web workflow and let a vision LLM operate a real Chromium session instead of writing per-site selectors. xCloud runs the pinned images with PostgreSQL and an nginx gateway, generates a dashboard password and API key, and publishes the dashboard and API over HTTPS on one origin.
Skyvern automates browser-based workflows using LLMs and computer vision. A self-hosted Skyvern gives you a Playwright-compatible SDK that adds AI functionality on top of Playwright, plus a no-code workflow builder, and it relies on vision LLMs rather than XPath selectors that break when layouts change. Upstream says it can work on websites it has never seen. It is licensed under AGPL-3.0, and upstream also sells Skyvern Cloud, a separate managed version.
On xCloud the install runs Skyvern v1.0.55 with its UI, PostgreSQL 14 and an nginx gateway, all pinned by digest, on one HTTPS origin. You choose OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini at install and supply your own key. Three volumes hold the state: postgres_data, skyvern_data and skyvern_credentials. xCloud generates the HTTP Basic password, and Chromium starts on first boot.
Self-hosting Skyvern normally means an API, a UI, a database, an LLM integration, a gateway, a domain and a certificate before your first workflow runs. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Skyvern from the OneClick catalog. Choose a domain, a dashboard username, your LLM provider (OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini) and paste its API key.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the Skyvern API, UI, PostgreSQL and an nginx gateway, all pinned by immutable digest, generate your dashboard password and organization API key, and publish the gateway over HTTPS while the API, UI and database stay private.
Step 03
Open your HTTPS URL after first boot finishes starting Chromium (typically two to five minutes), sign in with HTTP Basic, open Settings to copy your organization API key, and create your first workflow.
Skyvern runs in full here — vision-LLM browser automation, the dashboard and the HTTP API, on infrastructure you control.
Maps what's on a page to actions through a vision LLM, so it isn't tied to fixed selectors and can handle sites it hasn't seen before.
Dashboard, HTTP API and websockets share a single origin, so SDK and browser clients use one URL.
Choose OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini at install time; your key stays on your own server.
A generated password protects the dashboard and artifacts; the organization API key authenticates SDK calls.
Product telemetry is switched off in this template, so usage stays on your own server.
Workflows, tasks, the organization API key and stored artifacts survive a restart on persistent volumes.
Managed hosting for Skyvern, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Describe a repeated web workflow, such as filling a form on a supplier portal, and let the LLM operate Chromium without maintaining selectors.
Run a single workflow across a large number of websites, since Skyvern reasons through the interactions rather than relying on site-specific code.
Use the Playwright-compatible SDK or the HTTP API with the organization API key from Settings to start tasks from your applications.
Store videos, HAR files, downloads and sessions on volumes you control, instead of in a vendor's cloud.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.

Yes, and this template is Skyvern Docker hosting without the setup: the API, UI, PostgreSQL 14 and an nginx gateway, all pinned by digest, with three named volumes, a generated dashboard password and organization API key, and HTTPS on one origin.
Chromium and the API are heavy, so the template floor is 4096 MB of RAM, 2 CPU cores and 20 GB of disk. A 4 GB floor is why this page sells the 16 GB plan as the entry rung.
Use HTTP Basic with the username you chose and the generated password in your installation credentials. For SDK or API calls, send the organization API key from Settings as the x-api-key header. First boot takes two to five minutes.
OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini, selected at install time with your own API key and a model key such as OPENAI_GPT5_5. Tasks fail until the key is valid for the chosen provider, and LLM usage is billed by that provider, not by xCloud.
Skyvern uses vision LLMs to map what it sees on a page to actions, so it is not tied to fixed selectors and can handle sites it has not seen before. It also ships a Playwright-compatible SDK, so you can mix both approaches.
Yes. Change the dashboard username, password, provider, key and model in the Environment editor and redeploy, because they apply on every start. Keep SECRET_KEY unchanged, since it signs the organization API token minted on first boot.
Back up postgres_data, skyvern_data and skyvern_credentials together, plus the stable SECRET_KEY. The skyvern_data volume can hold cookies, tokens and retrieved files from runs, so treat it and its backups as sensitive, and stop the stack before a filesystem-level copy for consistency.
v1.0.55 and PostgreSQL 14 stay pinned until you move to a newer template version. Copy all three volumes first and read the project's notes. A running site never upgrades itself, and POSTGRES_PASSWORD only applies to an empty database.
Skyvern's open-source code is AGPL-3.0, with no software fee. Two things cost money: the dedicated Cloud VPS, and your own LLM provider usage. Upstream sells Skyvern Cloud separately, and this template does not include it.
No. Skyvern Cloud is upstream's managed service, which per its README runs multiple instances in parallel and bundles anti-bot detection. This template is the self-hosted version on your own server and does not include those cloud features.
Not as a vendor service. Skyvern here sits on a Cloud VPS that xCloud prepares for you, with workflows, artifacts and the database on volumes you own and the LLM key kept on your server.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
