Deploy SonaShow hosting and find new TV shows similar to the ones already in your Sonarr library. xCloud runs the pinned SonaShow 0.2.13 image behind a gateway that asks for a generated admin login, mounts a persistent settings volume and publishes the interface over HTTPS in minutes — so your Sonarr, TMDB and TVDB keys are never open to the public.
SonaShow is an open-source web GUI for discovering TV shows similar to ones you already follow. You pick shows from your Sonarr library, SonaShow asks TMDB for similar titles, and you add the ones you like to Sonarr from the page.
It does not download or store media itself: it is a companion that talks to your Sonarr server and to TMDB, and it keeps its settings in a single JSON file. Adding shows to Sonarr needs a TVDB API key.
A SonaShow stack normally means an app container, an authentication layer, a settings volume, a domain and a certificate before the first suggestion. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick SonaShow from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server, then set the admin username (default admin) — the password is generated for you. The Sonarr address and TMDB, TVDB and Sonarr keys are optional here.
Step 02
One click. We run the community SonaShow image, pinned by immutable digest and kept private to the stack, behind a digest-pinned Caddy gateway that enforces the HTTP Basic login. The sonashow_config volume holds your settings, and the gateway is published over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Save the generated password from the protected installation credentials, open your HTTPS SonaShow URL and sign in. If you skipped the install form, open Settings and enter your Sonarr and TMDB details, then get your Sonarr shows, select them and start discovery.
SonaShow runs in full here: TV show suggestions built from your Sonarr library, on your own domain, behind a login.
Pick shows from your Sonarr library and SonaShow suggests similar ones using TMDB ratings, votes and genres.
Each suggestion shows its rating, vote count, genres and an overview, so you can judge it before adding anything.
Add the shows you choose to Sonarr from the page; this needs a TVDB API key.
Sonarr, TMDB and TVDB values can be set at install or later in the app, and settings you save in the app are kept on the persistent sonashow_config volume.
A gateway enforces HTTP Basic Authentication on the whole site, including the live Socket.IO channel, with the admin username you choose and a generated password; unauthenticated and wrong-password requests were refused in QA.
Measured use in QA was about 70 MiB idle and about 135 MiB after running discovery, so it fits easily beside the rest of your media stack.
Managed hosting for SonaShow, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Select shows in your Sonarr library and get suggestions based on TMDB ratings, votes and genres, each with an overview.
Send a show you chose to Sonarr from the page instead of searching for it by hand (this needs a TVDB API key).
Run the interface on your own HTTPS domain with the Sonarr, TMDB and TVDB keys protected by a login instead of an open port.
Enter the Sonarr address and API keys in the install form, or leave them blank and set them in the app's Settings.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

No. It needs a Sonarr server it can reach and a TMDB API key; suggestions stay empty until they are set. A TVDB API key is only needed to add shows to Sonarr.
With the HTTP Basic username and the generated password in the protected installation credentials.
SonaShow has no accounts of its own and its Settings dialog returns the saved API keys, so xCloud puts authentication in front of the whole site.
A small Caddy gateway that enforces the login. It is the only published service; the SonaShow container has no host ports and is reachable only on the private network.
Yes, but a non-empty Sonarr, TMDB or TVDB value in the Environment editor overrides the same setting in the app on every start, so changes made in the app are lost on restart. Leave it empty to manage it in the app.
Anyone with the Basic Auth credentials can read and change the saved keys, so share them only with people you trust.
Yes. The page loads Bootstrap, Font Awesome and Socket.IO from public CDNs, so the visitor's browser needs access to them.
The sonashow_config volume, which holds the settings saved in the app (settings_config.json), and the stable environment values.
Settings you save in the app survive an xCloud Restart because they live on the sonashow_config volume; in QA, suggestions were still available after a restart.
No. The template pins SonaShow 0.2.13 and the Caddy gateway by immutable digest; new installations use the pinned release, existing sites are not automatically upgraded. Back up first, read the upstream release notes, then bump the readable tag and digest together on your own schedule. Server-level backups and snapshots are available on every Cloud VPS.
The template's baseline asks for 1 CPU core, 256 MB of RAM and 1 GB of disk; measured use in QA was about 70 MiB idle and about 135 MiB after running discovery. This page sells the 6 GB tier as the entry rung, with real headroom above that baseline.
No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the SonaShow project has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source SonaShow project.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No credit card required, and no plan you have to grow into.
