What is Tududi?

Is Tududi free?
Yes — it is free and open source under the MIT license. What you pay xCloud for is the dedicated server it runs on and the management around it, not the software itself.
Can I self-host Tududi?
Yes — that is exactly what this template deploys. It brings up the official Tududi image pinned by immutable digest, mounts its persistent database and uploads volumes, and publishes it over HTTPS on your domain in minutes instead of assembled by hand.
Who becomes the administrator, and how do I sign in?
You provide the administrator email on the installation form; xCloud generates the administrator password. Both appear in your installation credentials panel, and you sign in with them right away — the password can be changed inside Tududi after your first login.
What does xCloud configure automatically?
The administrator password, a 128-character session secret, both persistent volumes, the domain, and the HTTPS route. The only field you fill in yourself is the administrator email.
Does Tududi need a separate database?
No. Tududi uses its own embedded SQLite database, stored on the tududi_db volume under /app/db — separate from the tududi_uploads volume that holds attached files. There is no second database container to manage.
What should I back up?
tududi_db and tududi_uploads together. tududi_db holds the SQLite database — your areas, projects, notes and tasks; tududi_uploads holds attached files. A database-only backup leaves your uploads behind.
Does xCloud automatically back up or update Tududi?
No. The template pins Tududi by immutable multi-architecture image digest; a catalog re-sync affects new installations only. Before changing the pin, back up both volumes, review upstream release notes and test a migration plan, then verify sign-in, projects and tasks afterward.
What are the server requirements, and why does this page sell 6 GB?
The template manifest asks for 1 GB of RAM, one CPU core and 10 GB of disk as a floor — Tududi is a light, single-container app. This page sells the 6 GB tier as comfortable headroom above that floor as your areas, projects and uploads grow.
What survives a restart?
Everything on tududi_db and tududi_uploads, because both are persistent named volumes. Restarting the container does not touch your areas, projects, notes, tasks or attached files.
Can I change the generated session secret?
You can, but treat it carefully — rotating the session secret invalidates active sessions, signing everyone out. Keep it stable unless you have a specific reason to rotate it.
Can I change my domain later?
You can, but treat it as a real reconfiguration, not a rename. The installation domain becomes Tududi's allowed origin and base URL; changing it later means updating that setting and re-checking anywhere the old URL was shared.
Is xCloud officially partnered with Tududi?
No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and Tududi has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source Tududi project.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
