Can you self-host Super Productivity with Docker?

Yes. Upstream publishes a Docker image alongside its web app, and this template is Super Productivity Docker hosting without the setup: the v18.21.2 image pinned by digest, HTTPS on your domain and nothing else to run. It is your own Super Productivity cloud copy of the app.

How much RAM does Super Productivity need?

The template asks for 512 MB RAM, 1 vCPU and 5 GB storage, although the container serves a static app. The entry plan here is 6 GB, far more than what the app itself needs, so the same server can host other apps beside it.

Is Super Productivity free?

Yes, MIT licensing means no software fee. Only the Cloud VPS that serves the app is billed, and it can be cancelled any time. Sync providers you add may carry their own terms. Nothing else on the server needs a licence.

How do I sign in to Super Productivity?

You don't: there is no administrator account, login or generated credential. Super Productivity has no server-side account system, so open your HTTPS address and start using it directly. Add xCloud Basic Authentication or IP controls if the URL should be restricted.

Where is my Super Productivity task data stored?

By default in your own browser's local storage on the device you use. It survives page reloads and container restarts, but clearing browser storage or switching browsers or devices does not carry tasks over, so export backups or use a supported sync provider.

Does xCloud back up my Super Productivity tasks?

No. This template has no server-side database or volume, so your task data never reaches xCloud's servers. Use Super Productivity's export feature regularly, or configure one of its supported sync providers in the app if you need cross-device access.

Is the Super Productivity site private by default?

No. The app has no built-in access gate, so anyone who can reach your site URL can open it and use their own browser-local workspace. Add xCloud Basic Authentication or IP controls if the URL needs to be restricted to certain people.

Which integrations does Super Productivity have?

Upstream says it can import tasks from your calendar, Jira, GitHub and others, and the app lists GitLab and OpenProject among them. Set each integration up inside the app with your own credentials; the template configures none and stores none on the server.

How do I back up Super Productivity?

There is nothing to back up on the server. Back up from the app: use its export feature regularly, or configure a supported sync provider. If you clear browser storage without an export or a sync provider, the tasks held in that browser are gone.

How do I upgrade Super Productivity?

The install stays on pinned v18.21.2 until you adopt a newer template version. Export your tasks and read upstream's release notes first; with no volume to protect, the redeploy replaces only the static app. Your tasks stay in each browser. Nothing upgrades automatically.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
