Deploy Sync-in hosting and give your team its own file storage, sharing and sync platform on your own domain. xCloud runs the pinned Sync-in 2.5.2 image with a private MariaDB 11.8 database, generates the admin password and database credentials, mounts two persistent volumes and publishes the web interface and WebDAV over HTTPS. There is no public sign-up, so the administrator creates every other user.
Sync-in is a self-hosted platform for file storage, synchronization and team collaboration. Upstream lists a web interface with previews, local accounts with OIDC, LDAP and MFA, spaces and shares with fine-grained permissions, protected public links, full-text search, storage quotas, WebDAV, and Desktop and CLI clients for Windows, macOS and Linux. Self-hosted Sync-in is the alternative to a cloud file sync service, under the AGPL-3.0 licence.
On xCloud it is Sync-in 2.5.2 with MariaDB 11.8.9, both pinned by digest. Files and spaces sit on the sync_in_data volume and users, shares and settings on sync_in_db. Uploads up to 5 GB pass the proxy. Online document editing through Collabora, OnlyOffice or Euro-Office is listed upstream but is not included in this template, so editing is a separate service.
A self-hosted file platform normally means an app container, a database, generated secrets, volumes, a domain and a certificate before the first upload. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Sync-in from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server — there are no extra fields to fill in.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the official Sync-in image and a private MariaDB 11.8 database, both pinned by immutable digest, with the database kept off the public internet. The sync_in_data and sync_in_db volumes are mounted, an Admin Password is generated, and everything is published over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Save the Admin Password from the protected credentials panel, wait a minute or two for the first start to create the database schema, then sign in as sync-in. Set a real email address in your profile and create the other users inside the app.
Sync-in's file platform runs here, without the optional document-editing services: a file workspace on your own domain, backed by a database you own.
Create folders, upload files and browse them from the web interface, with your files held on your own server.
Reach your files over WebDAV from file explorers and third-party clients, or use the Desktop and CLI clients for Windows, macOS and Linux.
Organise shared work in spaces, with roles and permissions set for each user.
There is no public registration: the administrator creates every other user account inside Sync-in.
MariaDB has no host port and is reachable only inside the install's private network.
xCloud generates the Admin Password and database values and shows them in the protected credentials panel.
Managed hosting for Sync-in, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Create protected public links with a password, an expiry date and access limits, instead of emailing large attachments.
Give each person the Desktop or CLI client so shared spaces stay in sync with their laptops.
Connect file explorers, mobile apps and third-party clients through WebDAV to the same account.
Use spaces, personal groups, roles and fine-grained permissions to decide who can read or change each folder.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

Yes. Upstream documents a Docker setup, and this template is Sync-in Docker hosting already wired: the 2.5.2 server and MariaDB 11.8.9 pinned by digest, two volumes, generated secrets and HTTPS. It is your own Sync-in cloud file platform with the database kept private.
Sync-in lists 1024 MB memory, 1 vCPU and 5 GB of disk; idle use in QA was about 310 MiB across the app and MariaDB. The starting point here is the 6 GB plan, with headroom above what the app itself needs. Disk is the real limit, since your files live on sync_in_data.
Yes, the server is AGPL-3.0 open source, so the software carries no fee. xCloud bills the Cloud VPS and its disk, cancellable any time. Files remain readable on a volume you control. You can copy the whole library out at any time.
Sign in with the login sync-in and the Admin Password from the protected installation credentials, once the first start has created the database schema, which takes a minute or two. Then remove INIT_ADMIN from the environment and set a real email in your profile.
Yes. There is no public registration; the administrator creates the other user accounts inside Sync-in. Upstream also lists guests, spaces and personal groups, so you can give outsiders limited access without opening registration to anyone who finds the address.
Yes. Upstream provides Desktop and CLI clients for Windows, macOS and Linux, with multi-server synchronization workflows, and WebDAV for file explorers, network drives, mobile apps and third-party clients. Point them at your HTTPS address and sign in with an application password or your account.
No. Upstream supports online editing with Collabora Online, OnlyOffice and Euro-Office, but none is included in this template. Creating, previewing, sharing and syncing files works without it. Plan a separate editing service if your team needs to edit office documents in the browser.
Do not change the generated database values or the MFA encryption key after first use. Changing the token secrets signs everyone out, and changing the encryption key breaks existing MFA codes. MariaDB reads its credentials only when its volume is first created.
Back up sync_in_data (your files and spaces) and sync_in_db (users, spaces, shares, search index and settings) together, plus the generated values from the installation credentials. Stop the stack before copying the volumes, and test a restore on a spare server.
The install stays on pinned 2.5.2 and MariaDB 11.8.9 until you adopt a newer template version. Back up both volumes, examine upstream's release notes, then redeploy and check sign-in, a share and a sync. Existing sites are never upgraded automatically.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
