Deploy UptimeKit on xCloud and get UptimeKit hosting for an uptime and status page platform that monitors HTTP(S) and TCP services, publish customisable public status pages and manage incident reports, all on a server you own. xCloud runs the pinned dashboard and a bundled monitoring worker with a private TimescaleDB database, generates the administrator password and publishes it over HTTPS in minutes.
UptimeKit is designed as an all-in-one solution for tracking your services' uptime and communicating with your users. A self-hosted UptimeKit offers real-time monitoring for HTTP and TCP services, customisable status pages, incident reports, multi-tenant organizations with team management and uptime and response-time analytics, as an alternative to a hosted status page service such as Instatus. Upstream describes a distributed design where workers run the checks.
On xCloud the install runs UptimeKit 5.2.0 with a private TimescaleDB database, an Apprise API notification helper and a bundled worker, all pinned by digest. The worker is registered as Local worker, so a monitor works right after install. The uptimekit_db volume holds users, monitors, incidents and time-series data. xCloud creates the administrator, and public sign-up stays closed.
Self-hosting UptimeKit normally means a private time-series database, a monitoring worker, a generated admin password, a domain and a certificate before a single monitor runs. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick UptimeKit from the OneClick catalog. Enter an administrator email and choose a domain.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the pinned UptimeKit dashboard and worker images alongside a private TimescaleDB database and an Apprise API notification helper, create the administrator account with a generated password, and publish the dashboard over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Open your HTTPS URL (first boot can take about a minute while migrations run) and sign in. Create your first monitor and select Local worker under Regions — the first result can take up to a minute.
UptimeKit runs in full here — monitoring, status pages, incidents and organizations, on infrastructure you control.
Monitor HTTP(S) and TCP services and see response-time and uptime analytics for each one, from your own dashboard.
Publish customizable public status pages and manage incident reports for the people who depend on your services.
Run several teams from one instance using UptimeKit's own organization and team-management structure.
A worker named Local worker is bundled and registered automatically, so monitors work right after install, with room to add workers in other locations from Admin, Workers.
The administrator account is created automatically at install, and public sign-up stays closed until you choose to enable it.
Monitors, incidents, users and time-series data all live on a server you control instead of a third-party monitoring account.
Managed hosting for UptimeKit, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Check HTTP(S) and TCP services and see response-time and uptime analytics for each from your own dashboard.
Offer customisable public status pages and manage incident reports for the people who depend on your services.
Use UptimeKit's organization and team structure to keep different teams' monitors separate.
Add workers in other locations later, since upstream lets you run as many workers as you want.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

Yes, and this template is UptimeKit Docker hosting without the setup. Upstream ships a docker-compose.yml; here xCloud runs the pinned dashboard, worker and bootstrap images with TimescaleDB and Apprise, generates the secrets and publishes HTTPS on your domain.
The template asks for 1024 MB of RAM, 1 CPU core and 10 GB of disk as a floor, and a fresh install with one monitor used about 350 MiB across the four services. The 6 GB plan is the entry rung, with room for more monitors.
Use the administrator email from the install form and the generated password shown in the protected installation credentials. The account is created automatically, and the first boot takes about a minute while migrations run, so wait for the page before retrying.
Not by default. Public sign-up is refused once the administrator exists, unless you explicitly set ENABLE_REGISTRATION to true in the Environment editor. Leave it closed unless you want strangers to be able to create accounts.
Yes. UptimeKit runs checks only from registered workers, and this template bundles one registered as Local worker. Select it under Regions when you create your first monitor; the worker syncs its list every 60 seconds, so the first result can take a minute.
Change it inside UptimeKit itself. Editing ADMIN_PASSWORD in the environment afterwards does not rotate an existing account's password. Do not reuse the upstream example secret, and keep the generated APP_SECRET stable, because it signs sessions.
Back up the uptimekit_db volume, which holds application state, users, monitors, incidents and time-series data, plus your stable environment values. Stop or quiesce the stack first for a consistent copy, and test a restore before you rely on the copy.
The 5.2.0 dashboard and worker images remain pinned until you take a newer template version. Take a copy of the database volume and read the project's notes first. Running installs keep the snapshot they were created with.
Yes. UptimeKit is MIT licensed per the LICENSE file at the v5.2.0 tag, so the code is free to run. You pay for the dedicated Cloud VPS, and its disk holds the time-series data that monitors write.
Upstream describes a distributed design: workers check in with the app and run the checks, and you can run as many workers and app replicas as you want. It also adds organizations with team management and incident reports.
Not through this page. UptimeKit cloud hosting here means your own dashboard and worker run on a Cloud VPS that xCloud prepares, with monitors and incidents in a database on a volume you own, and no vendor account involved.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
