What is Warracker?

Warracker is an open-source warranty tracker for individuals and teams, according to its README: the easiest way to organise product warranties, monitor expiration dates and store receipts or related documents. It offers claims management with statuses and resolutions, multiple serial numbers per product, search and filters, CSV import and export, multi-user support, and alerts by email or Apprise services. A self-hosted Warracker gives you warranty management, self-hosted on a server you run, under AGPL-3.0.

On xCloud the template runs Warracker 1.0.2 with PostgreSQL 15, Authelia and Caddy, all pinned by digest, and only Caddy is reachable, over HTTPS. Authelia is a separate owner sign-in in front of Warracker's own login, so there are two generated passwords. Public registration is closed, and uploads, the database and authentication state sit on named volumes.

Is Warracker open source?

Yes. Warracker is licensed AGPL-3.0, so the software has no licence fee. Authelia and Caddy are independently maintained components in the stack. You pay xCloud for the Cloud VPS, and receipt uploads are what take disk over time.

How much RAM does Warracker need?

Its floor is one core with 1024 MB of RAM and 10 GB of disk across Warracker, PostgreSQL, Authelia and Caddy. Receipt volume and database growth can need more storage, and the 6 GB plan leaves comfortable room.

Can you self-host Warracker with Docker?

Yes, and this template is Warracker Docker hosting without the wiring: the official 1.0.2 image, PostgreSQL 15, Authelia and Caddy, all pinned by digest, generated owner passwords, named volumes and HTTPS. Only the Caddy gateway is published.

Why are there two sign-in screens in Warracker?

The outer Authelia gateway protects every route before traffic reaches Warracker, and Warracker then uses its own account and role system. xCloud generates two separate passwords, a Gateway Password and a Warracker Password, so do not mix them up.

Does Warracker send warranty expiry alerts?

Upstream lists alerts for upcoming expirations by email or through Apprise push services such as Discord and Slack. Nothing is configured in the template, so you set up the notification channel you want inside Warracker after signing in.

Can Warracker store receipts and claim records?

Yes. Warracker lets you upload receipts, invoices and manuals alongside a warranty, and manage claims with statuses, dates and resolutions. Uploads are limited to 32 MB by the application, and the outer proxy's own limit also applies.

Can other people register their own Warracker accounts?

No. Public registration is closed during installation, so the owner account created at install is the way in. Upstream supports multiple users with admin controls, so extra accounts are a decision you take after signing in.

How do I back up Warracker?

Back up PostgreSQL data, uploaded documents and authentication state as one coordinated set while writes are stopped, and keep SECRET_KEY and the Authelia secrets stable. Test a restore before relying on it, since the database and the uploads must match.

How do I upgrade Warracker?

The install stays on Warracker 1.0.2 and its pinned companions until you adopt a newer template version. Read the Warracker, Authelia, Caddy and PostgreSQL release notes, take a coordinated backup, and never roll back only the application image.

Is there a Warracker cloud service I can use?

This page is your own Warracker cloud: a dedicated Cloud VPS running the open-source tracker, with warranties and receipts on volumes of your own. Nobody else shares the instance, and it sits behind your owner gateway.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
