PeaNUT Hosting Live In 5 Minutes

Monitor every UPS on your NUT servers from one private dashboard. xCloud handles HTTPS, generates the administrator login and keeps your NUT server list and settings across restarts.

  • No terminal
  • No technical skills needed
  • No lock-in, cancel anytime

From Sign-Up to a Live PeaNUT Dashboard In Just 3 Easy Steps

Self-hosting PeaNUT normally means a container, a generated admin account, a domain and a certificate before you can see a single UPS. This is the same result without assembling any of it.

  1. Step 01

Create your xCloud account and pick PeaNUT from the OneClick catalog. Choose a domain, and optionally change the administrator username — the default is admin.

  2. Step 02

    We Deploy It For You

One click. We bring up the pinned PeaNUT 6.0.0 image, generate the administrator password, mount the persistent settings volume, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain.

  3. Step 03

    Add Your NUT Servers

Open your HTTPS URL, sign in with the credentials from your installation panel, then open Settings → Manage Servers → Add Server and enter the host, port and NUT credentials of a server this app can reach.

Everything PeaNUT Does, On Your Own Server

PeaNUT runs in full here — the same UPS monitoring and dashboard tooling as any self-hosted install, on infrastructure you control.

  • Live UPS Status

See real-time status, battery charge, runtime and load for every UPS across multiple NUT servers in one table.

  • No YAML Editing

Add and manage NUT servers from the Settings UI instead of hand-editing a configuration file.

  • Commands And REST API

Run UPS commands and read device variables from the dashboard or over the /api/v1 REST API, secured with your administrator credentials.

  • Metrics Export

Feed UPS metrics to InfluxDB v2 or Prometheus, or drop the widgets straight onto a Homepage dashboard.

  • Generated Admin Login

xCloud creates the administrator account on first start — there is no open public setup page to race.

  • Settings That Survive Restarts

The NUT server list, dashboard settings and administrator account live in a persistent volume, through an xCloud restart.

See why agencies, developers, startups, and growing businesses choose xCloud to power their projects.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!

I've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.

I'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting

xCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.

xCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.

Trust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍

So far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo Villa
Came from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson El
I've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony Lewis
I came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowell
I like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose

Dear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

What is PeaNUT?

PeaNUT is a free, open-source web dashboard for Network UPS Tools (NUT). It shows the live status, battery charge and load of every UPS your NUT servers report, on one HTTPS page. This template deploys version 6.0.0.

Does this install NUT itself?

No. PeaNUT is only the dashboard. It connects to one or more existing NUT servers (upsd, TCP 3493) that this server can reach on the network, usually over a VPN or a scoped firewall rule.

Is PeaNUT free?

Yes — it is free and open source under the Apache License 2.0. What you pay xCloud for is the dedicated server it runs on and the management around it, not the application itself.

How do I sign in the first time?

Use the administrator username and generated password shown in your protected installation credentials. Authentication is always on, so nobody else can register — the account already exists when the site starts.

What does xCloud configure automatically?

The PeaNUT URL, the administrator account, the persistent settings volume, the domain and the HTTPS route. Only the PeaNUT web interface is published — there are no other ports exposed.

Can I use it from scripts or other tools?

Yes. The /api/v1 REST API accepts the administrator credentials as HTTP Basic auth. PeaNUT can also push to InfluxDB v2 and expose metrics for Prometheus, or power widgets on a Homepage dashboard.

Can I change the administrator password later?

There is no in-app password change. Keep the generated password safe — the same credentials also work as HTTP Basic auth for the REST API.

What should I back up?

The peanut_config volume. It holds the NUT server list, dashboard settings and the administrator account.

Does xCloud automatically back up or update PeaNUT?

No. The template pins PeaNUT 6.0.0 by immutable digest; a catalog re-sync affects new installations only. Read the upstream release notes before changing the tag and digest together.

What are the server requirements?

The template manifest asks for 512 MB of RAM, 1 CPU core and 2 GB of disk as a floor. This page sells the 6 GB tier, comfortable headroom above that floor.

What survives a restart?

Everything on the peanut_config volume — your NUT server list, dashboard settings and the administrator account.

Is xCloud officially partnered with PeaNUT?

No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the PeaNUT project has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source PeaNUT project.

Can I run other apps on the same server?

Yes. It is a dedicated Cloud VPS, not a locked appliance, so you can deploy other OneClick apps or your own sites beside it as long as the resources are there.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
