How To Easily Disable Email Notifications For Credentials In xCloud Hosting
Updated October 19, 2026 · 1 min read
Solidify your security measures with xCloud Hosting as we introduce a fresh approach to safeguarding your credentials: Disable Email Notifications.
Go to Settings, then Notifications under Team, and turn off Send Sensitive Information. Then click Save Changes. When it is off, xCloud does not include passwords such as sudo, database, and wp-admin passwords in emails or other notification channels. It is off by default for new accounts. The setting belongs to the team owner: xCloud uses the owner’s choice for the teams they own, so the owner must change it. It’s important to note that we do not show any credentials within our system.
To choose which other xCloud emails you receive, see How to Manage Email Preferences and Unsubscribe in xCloud.
**Note: Please make sure to save your credentials somewhere else during site or server creation as we do not show any credentials in xCloud for security best practices.
