Follow the steps to set up Vulnerability Shield Pro to ensure your site remains protected from vulnerabilities.
Step 1: Access the Site and Navigate to Vulnerability Scan #
To begin, go to your website dashboard in xCloud. Once inside, find ‘WordPress’ from the sidebar and click on it. From the WordPress menu, select ‘Vulnerability Scan‘. This will direct you to the section where you can manage and monitor the security status of your site.
Step 2: Upgrade to Vulnerability Shield Pro #
If your site has not yet been upgraded to Pro, or if you have not purchased the Vulnerability Shield Pro add-on, you will see a notice prompting you to upgrade.
Click on the ‘Upgrade to Pro’ button to start the process. You will be informed that the price is ‘$5 per month’ for each site. Review your payment details carefully and then click the ‘Pay Now’ button. Once the payment is successful, the Vulnerability Shield Pro will be immediately purchased and activated on your site.
Step 3: Scan for Vulnerabilities #
After activating Vulnerability Shield Pro, return to the dashboard and click the ‘Refresh‘ button. This will initiate a vulnerability scan on your website. The scanner will search for any known vulnerabilities and display a list of results.
You can review each vulnerability in detail by clicking on the individual entries to see more information, including suggested remediation steps.
Managing Your Patchstack Subscription #
To manage your Patchstack subscription, navigate to ‘Team Settings‘ within your account. Then head over to ‘Subscriptions‘ and click on ‘Patchstack Subscription‘. Here, you will find an overview of all active subscriptions across your sites. If needed, you can cancel any subscription at any time by following the provided options.
