Wondering if you can use default wp mail or PHP mail on xCloud server? Unlike typical shared hosting setups, cloud hosting does not automatically include an email service. We don’t recommend installing an email server on any server that also hosts websites. And xCloud does not configure your server for sending or receiving emails.

Instead, we recommend using an email delivery service such as Elastic, Mailgun, or Amazon SES. Mailgun and Elastic Email offer a certain number of free emails each month, also, you can use SMTP plugins on your websites to send transactional emails. Additionally, since your server provides you all the access, you can configure on your own as well.
