Can I use Debian, Fedora, or other Linux distributions with xCloud?

Currently, xCloud supports Ubuntu-based servers for managed server provisioning and site deployment.

We use Ubuntu because it gives the best compatibility with xCloud’s automation, WordPress stack, security updates, server management tools, and supported services.

At this time, Debian, Fedora, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, and other Linux distributions are not officially supported for xCloud-managed servers.

If you want to connect your own server to xCloud, we recommend using a supported Ubuntu version to ensure provisioning, updates, backups, SSL, and site management work properly.
